By error an user was deleted from the admin console, how I can recover the USer?
I am employed by Love & Photos, I had my first wedding with them Saturday. I click on the link they gave me and they said my email was not a biz email so I used another ( [removed by moderator] ), my email attached to Love&Photos is [removed by moderator] Anyways, I then had to upgrade for more space. L&P should not need more space, it is unlimited. They said I should contact you and ask for a refund. But not I am trying to upload my images and it is complete but on their end they do not see any, can you help, on my end it says I have over 2000 images sent....SO two questions, can I get a refund and secondly why can’t they see the images on their end.*Title updated from “not seen on other end” to a more descriptive title for clarity.

I have a business account in Box. I upload my document to Box and insert the signature fields with the person designated to sign. When I click “Send Request”, it appears to start the process but then the request is not submitted. The document remains on the page - there is no error message and no indication that my browser blocked the request. I checked the requests folder and the sign request has not been added to the folder. I have cleared my browser cache and tried it in another browser, but still cannot send the signature request. Is this an issue with Box.com today? I have not had this issue before. Thanks!

I’m trying to build a workflow that renames any file uploaded to our Box Client Uploads folder, to the name of the person uploading it. The workflows repeatedly fail without giving any reason. Has anyone experienced this issue, or is aware of a potential workaround?
Hello, We currently have 3 paid managed user accounts in Box.One of our managed users has left the company, and we need to transfer all folders and contents from that user to a new employee. However, the new employee is currently an external user, so the account does not have enough storage capacity to receive all the transferred files and folders.At the moment, we cannot complete the content transfer unless the new employee is converted to a managed user. However, adding the new employee as a managed user would temporarily increase the total number of managed users to 4, while we are currently paying for only 3 managed user accounts.Since the content transfer has not yet been completed, we are also unable to delete the former employee’s managed user account.Please advise on the best way to proceed in this situation. As the Administrator within BOX, I own all of the data on the environment. If a file is “locked” because of a password or a glitch that prevents users from editing (says the file is open by someone else) even though they have editing permissions, is there a way for me to clear the lock or remove this restriction. This is something you could do on a basic windows environment by clearing the open files but cannot do it on BOX. Any help is appreciated.
I am trying to add user and I have seats available. However, Box wants to charge me everytime I add a user even though I have seats available. What is the fix here?
We have tried worksharing function using an AEC Collection license via local area network (LAN) and it was successful. However, our company has just started using Box Cloud File Server which provides secure and centralized platform for storing, sharing and working on digital files. In our attempts, it was not successful. We would like to know, is there a way in order to utilize worksharing function using an AEC Collection license via Box Cloud File Server?
I am new to box.com/ hoping someone can help me. I am trying to use Tags to automate our process. MY goal is to have a pre-populated tag for my team to choose from when reviewing a file. How do i very simply create a pre-populated tag? also, how do i conduct a search for files that do NOT have a tag? seems like these are simple but loaded questions.
Box seems committed to the same path as other cloud service providers, ensuring the customer is dependant on the cloud and phasing out features that give users access to their own files. Apple did the same with Photos, etc. Such is life. So with the imminent departure of Box Sync, how are folks thinking about the future of file sync services? Are you willing to go with the flow and adapt to Drive? Or holding on to maintain Sync behaviour as long as possible? Or looking to other providers (or even DIY) that still provide user friendly options?
I am adding a user but it gives me an error “invitation available for freemium account holders”. Not sure what to do from there. Any help would be great!

After cancellation, some users reported they couldn't log in. Hi,I am facing a challenge using Box Automate/Relay:I have a main folder with about 200 subfolders. Documents are regularly uploaded into these subfolders by various users.My goal is to automate the following process:Whenever a new document is added to any of the subfolders, it should automatically be moved (and renamed, according to a pattern) into a single central folder.So far, I have found that Box Automate and Relay only seem to trigger workflows on top-level folders, not their subfolders.Is it possible to monitor or trigger automation for subfolders with Box Automate, maybe by using loops or a workaround? Got a real screwball of a question and im hoping someone can assist as any leads to Box’s support have gone cold. I work for an MSP managing a client, who had an out-of-band box account, which- in an unfortunate series of events, had their aforenoted account seized in a security incident. Now it appears we cannot change the password as the primary email has been changed. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Hi! I have worked to update our enterprise settings to make it possible for external folks to have edit access without logging in. It does not currently seem possible. Hi Box Support Team,I am hoping you can clarify how folder permission inheritance works in Box, and whether there are any options I may have missed.Our setup:- We have a Tier 1 parent folder: AMOGY - E&R Management Team- Inside it we have Tier 2 subfolders including: 02 - Budget- Inside 02 - Budget we have a Tier 3 subfolder: May 2026 ERO Budget24 people currently have collaboration access to the Tier 1 parent folder, which means they inherit access all the way down to the May 2026 ERO Budget folder.I need to restrict the May 2026 ERO Budget folder to only a small subset of those 24 people.My specific questions:1. Is there any native Box feature that allows me to block or restrict inherited permissions at a subfolder or file level — without moving the content out of the parent folder hierarchy?2. If not, is this possible through any Box Admin console settings or enterprise-level controls?3. Is the only solution to move the restricted folder outside the parent hierarchy and reshare
