We have about 10.000 user sin several regions in the world. We would like to limit admin/co-admin access not only to certain functions but to the data of of their region.
EU Admin can only create reports for EU data.
China admin can only create reports on China data.
Is this possible in BOX?

Hi @ogoehre, welcome to the Box Community!
To restrict access to specific data in Box based on region, you can utilize Box Zones to control where data is stored and geo-restrictions to limit access based on user location.
You can assign the people in your organization to any Zone your company has purchased. When you assign people to a Zone, their existing files migrate over, and any new files and folders they create within their own root folder are mapped to the assigned Zone. If they create a file within someone else's root folder, that file is mapped to the storage policy of the owner of the file.
To discuss and to learn more about Box Zones, including pricing, you can reach out to our Sales Team through any of the following channels:

Does this zone concept also apply to Admin (resp. Co-Admin) rights and priviledges? The question is not about the own files but analyzing user data and behaviour (reporrting), Metadata Creation, Workflow templates as related to a region.
Hi @ogoehre, two things that may be helpful.
Ethical walls / information barriers - these are built into Box Shield and can help prevent designated groups from collaborating with and accessing content owned by other groups that are within the same Box instance.
Group Admins - Group admins function similar to co-admins but have a limited subset of permissions and those permissions only apply to users within their group. I’m sharing a screenshot below of the 4 permissions. It might not be a perfect fit given your comment around metadata template control but I would recommend testing and seeing if it works for you.
