My account cannot be completely emptied on Box. After cleaning all files and the Recycle Bin, 401.9 MB still remains. Please help me.Account ID191100019Storage Used401.9 MB of 50.0 GB

I am unable to upgrade to the Starter plan due to an account verification error. When I try to upgrade, I receive the following error message: "There was an error processing your request. Your account needs further verification, please submit a ticket at support.box.com." I need to upgrade to the Starter plan as soon as possible and would appreciate if this issue could be resolved by tomorrow. Could you please help me complete the account verification process so I can proceed with the upgrade? Thank you for your assistance.

We are in the process of developing a .NET console application intended for a scheduled task that will delete files associated with a specific tag.We are utilizing Visual Studio 2022 to create this console application. Although we can reference Box.V2.Core through NuGet, the namespace is not recognizing the packages.Please refer to the attached screenshot for further details.We tried the same with box SDK and facing the same issue.

My admin console shows that I have 6 seats available, but the system won't let me add a new managed user. Please advise.

Can I force sync drive and how often does box drive sync? Thanks in advance for the help  

I have pdf files to view and download and it will not let me do either. I have called my IT department. I have relogged in. The people giving me access say I have proper permissions. Any help would be appreciated.When attempting to preview, the following message is displayed. 

Shortcuts created by others are not visible from either web browsers or BoxDrive. How can I make these shortcuts visible and usable?I would appreciate any advice.

I would like refund request asap - didnt use the service and not planning to do so

I have searched through the discussion but nothing is giving an actual solution. I followed a comment saying to disable and enable finder in system settings > extension, but when I turned on the “box finder extension” it automatically switched off, no warning no text just switched by itself. Any suggestions ? I kinda hate doing this, why can’t you just fix this, imagine someone just downloaded this app and spend the whole day trying to make files available online ??? smh, sorry for the crash out

先ほど box ライセンス数が不足していると box からメールが来ました。そこで、管理アカウントでログインし確認したところ、12 ライセンス使用されていました。購入分は 5 ライセンスなので、7 ライセンス超過していることになります。どうやら、無料で作成したカウントが自動的に会社の管理ユーザーに変更されたようです。一旦それらのアカウントを削除することでライセンス数は 5 に戻ったので、問題は解決しました。しかし、なぜ無料アカウントが自動的に管理対象になったのかが不明です。管理アカウントにはドメインの管理機能がありますが、自動登録の設定は無効にしてあります。同じグループ内でも管理対象になっていないアカウントもありました。box から突如連絡がきたということは、ここ最近で変更されたものと思われますが、削除したアカウントはどれも結構前に作成したものです。原因がわからないため、今後も同様の現象が起こる可能性があるため相談させていただきました。 ご回答いただけますと幸いです。

I created an account and subscribed to a free 1-week trial of the most basic premium account because I needed to upload a single file for an organization I am a part of. After completing that process I verified my email and attempted to login where I was told I did not have an account with the email input. This is the same email I just received the box verification for, so i was confused. I tried one more time to login using the same email verification link but there was an error. Then I just created a new account, this time on my computer, but I did not begin a free trial for any of the premium services. However when I attempted to research if I would still be charged for my old account, I ran into the terrible system that is Box. I was charged for 3 quantities of business licenses and that needs to be refunded. Never have I had such a terrible experience with a service like Box. Hello customer support. Awhile back I had my Box account moved from an old email that i was going to discontinue. It was done successfully and merged. But this morning I woke up and accessed box which I have not done for about a month and ALL the files,folders,docs were gone. Only the new ones that were put on that box account exist. Where are all the others? What was odd is all the files were a white icon and everytime I clicked on them it would want to download, but the would crash. I’m not sure what to do from here. I reinstalled BOX on desktop but that didn’t work. I still don’t see all those old files that were under the previous email. Please advise. 

what is the solution with this problem? i tried to install this again and again but i can’t download it.  

Dear Sir/Madame, With the new version of Box (version 2.49.249), we are unable to use the quick search feature that we previously used on the desktop. When we use the search tool, a loading (waiting) screen appears, but no results are displayed. The figure below shows the waiting screen that appears when we try to search the documents. This issue does not occur for colleagues who are still using the previous version. However, users who have updated to Box desktop version 2.49.249 are unable to use the document search functionality on the desktop application.How can we resolve this issue for users who are on version 2.49.249? Is there any way to download previous versions? Could anyone please assist us with this problem?

Slightly unclear as to what characters should be avoided in file and folder names when using Box. For example is it ok to use spaces within a filename (not at the beginning or end), or can this cause problems in transferring? Would it be better to use underscores or hyphens instead?

We have verified that the folder is also not available in the Trash.We have Editor access to the folder (as shown in the attached screenshot).<image removed - personal information redacted>We can access other shared folders on our Box home page; however, this specific folder — “N1 Rotor Lock Disc Kaizen_W42 2025” — is not visible.

I am trying to add a new email address and set it as the new default, but I’m unable to add any new email addresses. I keep getting “There was an error while trying to add ___ to your account.” (I removed my email address from the message.) How can I add it?

My colleague was added by the client to collaborate on shared files. When she logged in from the invite link, the above error appears. The client has also tried removing and re-adding her to the files, but the same error appears. Can you help to troubleshoot and assist on resolving this issue please.

Will Box Drive support Adobe Bridge before you retire Box Sync? This is the main program we use to access and organize the images we are storing, so unless Box Drive works with it, we can’t make the switch.
