I am trying to configure notifications in Box Relay. Notifications are now being sent correctly. Is it possible to include variables such as file names or file URLs in the notification content?Also, is there a document listing all variables available in Box Relay?Thank you.

I have made a new registry entry to be prompted to lock a file when opening in Box Drive. Per this support page:https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/ [removed by moderator] -Enabling-Enhanced-Lock-Unlock-on-Box-Drive-Windows-Only The behavior is not working. Re-boot makes no difference. Does one need to be a Box Admin for this function to work? I tried a separate registry entry for default Box folder and that does not work either. I am the administrator on my Windows machine, so it is nothing to do with that I do not think.Any suggestions?

Hello, I’ve been a Box user since it came out and primarily use it for cloud storage. The last time I logged in (a few months ago), all my files were there and everything was working normally.Today, I was prompted to reset my password. After logging back in, I found that all of my files are missing.Could you please help me understand what might have happened and how I can recover my data?Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I did some updates to permissions on the link and now the link is not working. Is there a way to restore the original link?Getting the message:  "This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you."

Hi I have unsynced files on my local drive due to Box storage issue. I was informed to log out of Box to see if I can upload the files to Box.  However, after I logged out of Box, then logged back in, all my files on the unsyncedFiles folder on my local drive are gone.   Is there anyway to restore those files.  I checked the trash can, they are not there.  Thanks!

I have been using Box in the workplace for approximately four weeks.  I did not set up authentication or an account backup code.  This morning when attempting to log in, I was prompted to provide authentication or a backup code.  I don’t have the Microsoft Authenticator app.  Is there a way to configure a backup code or a way to prevent this from happening again?

Hello everyone,  my company uses Box, and quite frankly it's a disorganized mess. I have been brought in to organize it. Currently, there is no structure to how the folders are set up, and a lot of the files are incorrectly named. We have about ten people that currently work inside and use Box.My question is: If I change the name of a file, does that affect the shareable link? What if I change the name of the folder that it's in, or what if I move the folder? Since I have been tasked with restructuring Box, I'm curious what would happen to all the shareable links if I move, rename, and/or delete folders. 

We invited the user to create a Box account, but it appears they had previously registered with Box. They had set up two-factor authentication using SMS (mobile phone number), but since their phone number has changed, they are unable to receive the SMS and cannot log in.According to the help documentation, in this case, Support needs to remove the multi-factor authentication.Could you please assist with this request?Target user: [removed by moderator]

HiToday my Box admin added my personal account (with company E-Mail address) to be managed with our Enterprise account.I have received the notification E-Mail, my account will be converted to managed in 14 days. Is there a way I could speed up the conversion process?Thanks

When I log into my Box account, I get an error message saying my files are missing and all the settings options are blank. I can't edit anything or upload files; everything shows an error. I don't understand. Can you help me? Thanks!

Hi team,My work group is on an Enterprise plan but several members are receiving “Account storage limit reached” error messages when trying to upload files. Any ideas how to fix this?

I closed Box Drive because it was causing multiple error notifications to the point my system was not usabe. It then wanted to send a log to Box which I allowed. It then told me I should create a support ticket. It took me to the general Box website, not a support specific location. Is creating a post here i this forum the same as creatig a support ticket, or do I need to do something else? The error messages are frequent, so I really do want some support on this. I have an indivicual account and no corporate support for help. Is this the best place to get it?

We can't seem to find the page you're looking for.” Previously, access was working normally, but now they’re unable to see any collaboration folders.We’ve already checked with the organization that owns the folders, and everything appears to be working correctly on their side. Hey Team,While my local Box storage occupies <40GB, Box online reports >51GB with same number of files.  Can you please help me understand or fix this issue?Thanks in advance!P.S.: I posted the same issue (old post) a week ago on Support forum and was told that the situation should be automatically fixed in 24 hours.  It has been five days since then but the situation has not be fixed.  Also, adding more comment to the old post does not seem to get the support team's attention.  Hence, I am reposting the issue here.

I am trying to log into my account using a different PC, but Box.com is not sending SMS. Two steps verification is cut short. An error appears showing "Invalid Login Credentials". Changed my password in the first PC and tried again. Nothing. Thanks for any help.

My Box tasks, notifications and collections also have been failing to load. Additionally, I cannot assign new tasks to my collaborators. This occurs on both Chrome and Safari browsers as well as on different devices (PC, Mac, iPhone). I've cleared cache and history, and restarted my computers. Can a support ticket please be opened?

 None of my content loads when I log into my Box account. Everything says "loading error." I've already deleted cookies, changed browsers, and even switched computers, but the problem persists.

I recently migrated all of my Box folders from a university Box account to a personal Box account at the Business level. Folders are shared with maybe 30-ish other people. I use Box Drive on my Mac laptop. Since the migration, I can save new files and have them sync, but every time I try to update an existing file (ppt, word, excel), I get an error message saying “Upload failed: We’re sorry this didn’t work. Try saving again later, and if that doesn’t work, click Save a Copy” with a button for “Save a Copy”. The updates will save locally, so I don’t lose them for now, but they are not synced with Box for others. It doesn’t look like they are saved (i.e. the date last changed is not the most recent date of edits), but when I open the file, the newer version does appear, likely because a temporary file is stored. This same issue is happening with at least two other users of my Box business account.  How do I fix this, without losing all of the temporary files that I’ve created when fi

Hi I would like to change admin for box, our current employee departed and we are not able to reset the email for that employee.

I have a Relay workflow that is being triggered an excessive number of times and assigning an excessive number of tasks to the same people over and over again, when the conditions for the task to be assigned are only being met once and I make sure to invalidate the conditions as part of the flow, so I can guarantee there is not a feedback loop occurring. I initially thought that the issue might be caused because I was evaluating 16 metadata values to trigger the task, so I implemented a “fix” where when the 16 metadata conditions were met, the flow would update a single metadata value. Then a separate flow would listen only for the single metadata value to trigger the task. However, this seems to have exasperated the problem exponentially, not solved it.Based on that, I would imagine that the solution needs to be cutting down on the number of metadata values being watched for in general, but I can’t let this action fire until an indeterminate number of simult
