I can log in from the web, but when I try to log in from the app version of BoxDrive, I keep getting stuck at the login screen.

Every time I open BOX Drive it asks me to log in, I click it and it sends me to the website to login, after I log in, I am sent back to the BOX Drive Application on my windows pc, but nothing happens. I am left on the Application page that says to login, I click it again and it restarts the cycle of sending me to the online website to log back in. Someone please help, I have tried multiple browsers and uninstalling and reinstalling BOX Drive. Also, I cannot get the chat feature to pop-up on the website.

Hello, I'm a new Box user and I'm trying to install Box Drive on my Windows 11 PC. When installing, I click to log in, it redirects to the Box page, I log in, but when it returns to the app it asks me to log in again and gets stuck in this loop. I checked the log file, following the steps in the site's FAQ, and the error appears to be related to PKCE validation. I'll attach the log file here to help you. My BOX syncs from box.com to my windows desktop. But when I add/delete or move files on my desktop it does not sync back to box.com.My co workers doe not have this problem while using the same setup. I do have these errors but not entirely sure how to solve it. The more button does not tell me anything. 

Does Box actually have a support contact? For the first time I am having major issues and the contact us button doesn’t do anything other than sending me to the community page.I tried repeatedly to create a new folder and kept getting a message to say there was a problem with my request. Unhelpful to say the least, and frustrating since I have been using Box without problems for a couple of years. I managed to get around that by logging on with my phone. That let me create it. I’ve then tried several times to upload a file (88MB and I am well within my storage limits) and it gets to the 100% point, hangs, and then eventually fails to upload. Given that I am trying to meet a court deadline, this is unbelievably frustrating. The service status page says everything is working ok, I can access existing folders, so I really don’t get what is actually going wrong. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks

Hi,We are using the Box for Netsuite integration and have a small query.Purchase Requisitions are raised to request the creation of a Purchase Order.Part of the requisition process is the loading of quotes, images, emails etc. to the record.The native NetSuite process is that when the Purchase Order is created from the Purchase Requisition, any attachments are copied automatically over to the PO.We recall something being mentioned about this in our initial presentation of Box but alas we do not recall the detail.Could anyone guide us on how we can set this up.

We have been working trying to find a solution to the inherited cascade permission for a while without success. There is no way we can continue with BOX (not even started) and they deny the refund because we paid the annual subscription. This is unethical, since the person that assisted us in sales never explain correctly and their sharing functionality does not work. Anyone else with this problem and how to solve? It can not be the regular cancellation as they don't understand. Please advice.

I am currently developing an integration that relies on Box webhooks to maintain a synchronized state between Box and my application’s internal database. I have encountered a discrepancy in how Box triggers events for nested folder structures during trash and restore operations.Observed Behavior:Deletion: When a parent folder containing multiple sub-folders is moved to the trash, the Webhook API correctly emits a FOLDER.TRASHED event for the parent folder, followed by individual FOLDER.TRASHED events for every nested sub-folder. This allows my application to accurately update the status of each item in my database. Restoration: When I restore the parent folder from the trash, all nested sub-folders are correctly restored in the Box UI. However, the Webhook API only emits a single FOLDER.RESTORED event for the parent folder. No events are generated for the sub-folders that were restored as part of that tree.Technical Impact: Because my application relies on individual events to trigger

I am building a multi-tenant SaaS platform and looking to integrate Box. Here's the use case:  - Customers have their own existing Box accounts  - Each customer would share one specific folder in their Box with our account  - Our backend needs to create subfolders and upload files into those customer-shared folders automatically  - Content should live in the customer's Box, not oursWhich authentication would you recommend? The concern of using OAuth is that when refreshing a token it invalidates an existing token which could create issues across tenants. But I am not sure if App User and Service Account are intendedly made for the case when customers are box users

Which Box plan allows users to view or track expired files or documents?

Hey Team,While my local Box storage occupies <40GB, Box online reports >51GB with same number of files.  Can you please help me understand or fix this issue?Thanks in advance!P.S.: I posted the same issue (old post) a week ago on Support forum and was told that the situation should be automatically fixed in 24 hours.  It has been five days since then but the situation has not be fixed.  Also, adding more comment to the old post does not seem to get the support team's attention.  Hence, I am reposting the issue here.

The Box App for iOS is completely bugged.I have a user on an iPad. When he navigates to a particular file in the app, it shows an old version that has been updated. When he opens the file on Windows of through a browser, it reflects the current and accurate file. We signed him out and back in, reinstalled the app, power cycled the iPad, and makes no difference. A technician from out IT Company signed in on his iOS device that has never had Box installed on it, and got the EXACT same issue as the end user. They also signed in as our upper level admin and saw the same outdated/old version. When logging into the Windows App or a Browser, they too saw the correct version. This rules out network difference, user permissions, missing updates, outdates app, etc.We need this addressed immediately - we have users out in the filed and at job sites, and we cannot afford to have them not getting correct information and files. 

I cannot seem to add users. I have watched videos and read all the self help. I need help from a person.

I am trying to recover a deleted user account and its associated folder map.

We have a user who uploaded several pdf files on May 19th.  He went to check them today and the file names have changed to a number and a squiggly line, and another number.  Those were not the name of the files that were uploaded.  How did that change and how can I keep it from happening again?

I have tried to save photos from my local iOS roll to iOS Files > Box (because I thought that you just don't need to keep any app active until all files are synced, but the files will all stay in "waiting". The files neither appear in the box app, nor in the web app. How would I trigger syncing the box folders in the iOS Files app with the Box server?

I keep receiving error messages related to a couple of folders every time there's an update to Box, but I've got used to ignoring them.  The error message that's really annoying is one I receive about failed file uploads (which can be to any Box folder). For example, I just received this warning message: I only show the minimized window because the file names may have confidential details.  But when I look in the Box folder, the files are there and I can open them. It doesn't matter how many times I click the "Try Again" button, Box still tells me that the files failed to upload .... and yet they are there and able to be opened, edited and saved.  Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to find instructions on how to clear the error message.  If there any way to do this, apart from logging out of Box and then logging back in again? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

I’m referring to the actual file or document itself, not shared links. Does Box also support automatic file or document expiration? I want to restore a folder/file that I accidentally deleted.The data is not in the Recycle Bin.What information do I need to provide in order to restore them?

I see that this was asked and commented on by many. I do not see a resolution.The issue: An error message from uploading a document pops up as a notification and blocks the usable work area on screen.The requested solution: a way to disable this notification (because it does not clear, refresh, delete, expire, etc.)Please answer:Can notifications be turned off?  How?Thanks

I have some users who are trying to install Box Drive as we transition away from Box Sync before the end of the year. I instructed everyone to first unsync for any files/folders they might have actively synced to on their local Macs and then to run the Box Drive installer which will uninstall Box Sync during the installation. They have been unable to completely unsync their files. Is it necessary to unsync before installing Box Drive? Also, should they sign out and quit Box Sync before running the Box Drive installer? Will anything happen to the source files/folders to which they had synced if they don’t unsync first? Thanks in advance.
