Hi all,I am trying to share folders with various outside groups as part of a review process. I don’t want them to know who each other are. I have set up the folders and files such that the previewer can only see me (the admin) and themselves as having access to the file. However, in the comments and annotations, if someone puts in the @ symbol and types a letter, with luck they are able to pull up the names of the other users as potential recipients. How do I turn this off to make private for each previewer? Or is there a way to just turn off comments and annotations altogether? Is there anywhere else they might find ways to see who each other are?Thanks. 

The Box mobile app consistently slows down within minutes of opening, freezes, and then crashes. Several of my colleagues are experiencing the exact same issue. We’ve already cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, and verified all device permissions, but nothing helps. Additionally, uploading photos from mobile fails every time, even when using the direct-save photo widget, the app freezes or crashes immediately. This level of instability is disrupting our daily business operations, and if there isn't a viable fix soon, we will have to switch to an alternative platform.

Hi, I am an owner of a box folder and when i tried to invite users from a different organization on the whitelist to the folder, some of them got a default global block message whereas other people didn’t. How to resolve this issue?

Bonjour .Jusqu’à présent, je faisais une sauvegarde de sauvegarde avec l’outil Synology DRIVE.Avec la nouvelle version de box, mon synology drive ne voit plus le dossier “BOX”.Le support Synology m’indique de créer un dossier, par exemple BOX dans mes documents ou n’importe où sur le disque dur .Or quand je vais dans préférences dans box, la seule option pour la destination est le nom de mon mac soit “Macinthosh HD” …Quelqu’un peut il m’aider s’il vous plait ?

We have a user that has changed roles and has over 30K collaborations. What is the fastest way to remove access files and folders they should no longer be able to access without removing all collaborations?

I used to be able to play video files in the app without any problem, but lately they wont load. They just sit there showing the blue file logo with the spinning white circle like they're trying to load. Im using my 5G instead of wifi as I dont have internet yet at the new place, so I thought it might be something stopping me from playing a video using mobile switchdata, so I used the wifi at work to make the files available offline. Well they still wont play.  Any ideas?

I’m obviously not the first person to experience the search function not working.  I clearly have a file in my Box account with the word “budget” in the title. When I type “budget” in the search bar, nothing shows up. I’ve tried other search terms that should work and they don’t.  These files have been in my account for days and I haven't touched them and the search is still not working. They are spreadsheets and word docs, not PDFs.  Please help me fix this. The search is completely nonfunctional at this point. This is the main barrier preventing me from recommending Box to my entire team.   

I recently used the Box integration in Google Drive to migrate a few Google Sheets over to Box. These Sheets included buttons, that when pressed, ran functions I had written in Google Apps Script. In Box, the buttons had no scripts attached to them, nor was I able to access my scripts through the Extensions > Apps Script menu.I created a new Google Sheet in Box, and I had the same issue—no Extensions menu for me to access the Apps Scripts by.Is Google Apps Script something that’s enabled in Box? Or should I look into alternatives for augmenting my spreadsheet with automations?

Free Developer account. Two User OAuth 2.0 Platform Apps on the same enterprise; both ENABLED. Hey Team,While my local Box storage occupies <40GB, Box online reports >51GB with same number of files.  Can you please help me understand or fix this issue?Thanks in advance!P.S.: I posted the same issue (old post) a week ago on Support forum and was told that the situation should be automatically fixed in 24 hours.  It has been five days since then but the situation has not be fixed.  Also, adding more comment to the old post does not seem to get the support team's attention.  Hence, I am reposting the issue here.

Forced by Box to migrate to Box Drive from Box Sync, i can’t find a way to define where my box folder is, i need this to be on an external drive where i have plenty of space available, just like i have it with BoxSync. I have 2 workstations that i need to do this, one on windows and another on OsX. please help.

However, when we use this authorized user to collect data from another user who has either the Co-Admin or Admin role, the API returns a 403 Forbidden response.We would like to understand whether this is a known limitation of Box's As-User functionality or permissions model.Specifically:Can a user with the Co-Admin role, who has authorized our application, use the As-User header to access data belonging to another Co-Admin or Admin user? Could you please clarify how the Business plan works in terms of user licensing and account structure?For example, if we currently have 10 users on the Business plan and need to add another 10 users with Business Plus features, can both licence types be managed under the same company account, or would all users need to be on the same plan?

Attempt to open file sent result in error  “Oops there was an error.  Please try again later”  going on 4 days need file.

I click on invite link, it says Oops! We can't seem to find the page you're looking for. Don’t know where to submit support ticket. What do I do?

Upload Error message will not go away and blocks access to the lower right of my screen.   How can I get this maddening message to go away??  Previous responses have not been helpful.  What are the geniuses at BOX doing about this? 

I have uninstalled Box Sync, but I am still unable to install Box Drive. When trying to install the application I get this message:
