I used an old email alias for my Box account. I have since changed email alias, and am being sent files to my new  alias, but I can’t access these files because Box won’t let me sign up for a new account with the new alias - it is recognizing it as being attached to my old alias. I cannot delete my old alias as I need those files. I need help in allowing my new alias to sign up for a new account so I can access files being shared with the new alias. Thank you. 

We need to rotate the OAuth client secret for an existing production mobile application while older versions remain installed.Could you clarify:1. Can multiple client secrets remain active during migration?2. Does generating a new secret revoke the existing secret?3. Will existing access and refresh tokens remain valid?4. Can existing refresh tokens be used with the new secret?5. Will users need to authenticate again?6. What zero-downtime migration process do you recommend?7. Does rotation require another application review?8. When is it safe to revoke the previous secret?

A request was made to change ownership of a box account.  While co-owners were assigned correctly - the admin/owner was removed as a collaborator and now files cannot be viewed.

Hello, I bought a new MacBook with Tahoe.26.5.1 but I cannot install Box.net as it reports this is an old version (the version online) do you know if there is any new version somewhere? Thanksss

annoying upload error messageSince more than one year, Box have issue with those annoying error message that can’t be solved : somme error message because box BOX say it is maliscious, ok. just ignore the transfert and do not copy it , but box does not offer the option : just keep saying that it is malicious. another example : a special caracter not authorized. When I opern box, I get an error message that 11 files couldn't be uploaded. This isn't a real problem because the files, uploaded by others, are there. How can I get box to stop sending this annoying error message to me?

Hi,I'm an IT solutions provider, and I made a mistake while setting up a Microsoft 365 tenant for one of my clients, who is a nonprofit.I initially signed up for the tenant using my own Microsoft 365 account. After configuring Single Sign-On (SSO), I inadvertently lost access to the tenant.I'm the one who paid for the subscription, and there are currently 10 users in the tenant. At this point, I'm unable to sign in to manage the environment, complete the setup, or administer the users.Can you please help me regain administrative access to the account? 現在、Box Enterpriseプランを利用しています。管理者画面で対象ユーザーを確認したところ、以下の状態です。・ストレージ使用量：16.5TB・割り当て済みストレージ：無制限・ステータス：アクティブしかし、ファイルをアップロードすると、「現在のアカウントで保存できるデータは16.5TBまでです」「アカウントのストレージサイズの上限に達しました」と表示され、268件のアップロードが失敗しています。ユーザーのストレージ割り当ては、すでに無制限に設定されています。Enterprise Plusへのアップグレード画面も表示されますが、現在のEnterpriseプランも無制限ストレージと表示されているため、アップグレードが必要な理由が分かりません。

I submitted my app for reauthorization however myself nor the other admin in my account have received an email notification to submit authorization.

I've been experiencing extremely slow download speeds since starting to use box thhis week. It can take up to an hour just to download one file. I've tried both the desktop app and browser.I'm expected to finish projects quickly and this just isn't working for me. My internet connection has good download speeds. 

I cannot open file on my own laptop and a window pops up: " We can't open .. file from BOX. Make sure the storage account is provisioned. "I made sure and it is.

I can no longer open up a document in Box and edit it. It downloads to my computer. Is this a new change? Can we opt out of this change?

Search is not returning files that I know are in Box, I have tried every filter, deleted cookies/cache, restarted computer, and still search isn’t working for basically any files.

Hi all,I have created Box File Request to receiving bidding submission by enable metadata to get some value to create folder and processing the files/folders. We already created one workflow and it worked well. However, if we have more than one bidding happen at the same time, we need to duplicate the workflow and change the folder where we want to receive the files. Is there anyways to help in easy manage the task?  Thanks,PS

Hi, Anytime I try and upload a file, I get this error, “Something went wrong with the upload. Please try again.” I have the correct file size and file name, cleared my cache… I can’t submit a ticket because I dont see that option. So more time spending on why I can’t submit a ticket and researching. Please help. Please advise.  

Hi there, I keep getting a random vague error message saying that Box is experiencing issues and then requests I send logs.  When I attempt to do that, it prompts me to create a ticket.  I follow the steps and there are no specific instructions on how to contact support nor create a ticket. I have tried to reset and reinstall box, but the issue keeps happening.  I cannot work off the online version as I have a high quality of files to move and edit  I really need this resolved immediately.  It’s been three - four days of this and I’m beyond frustrated as it is prolonging my ability to work.

Hi there, i am trying to save outlook data file on our Box account however, i am always getting an error which is “ New problem item .pst could not be updated. There’s no special characters in the file name and regardless of the size of the file, this is always happening. How can i fix this pls? Thank you.

I’m a long-time BoxSync user and had a number of folders that were shared as local drives in my system for scanning and folders used by my accounting software.  Because of the EOL for BoxSync, I’ve made the switch to BoxDrive only to discover that I can no longer create Windows shared drives.  This is a make or break need for me as I have to be able to map to folders within the BoxDrive environment.Before I make the switch to another cloud storage provider, I’m hoping that someone has come up with a workaround that will make the old functionality on BoxSync work with BoxDrive.It’s really disappointing to me to lose functionality because a perfectly good solution (BoxSync) is getting discontinued.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to automate our document approval process and wanted to see if anyone has implemented something similar.Here's our current workflow: A Word document/template is completed. Depending on the document, different people may need to sign. For example: Sometimes A, B, and C Sometimes A, D, and E Sometimes B, C, and F I receive the document and manually create a Box Sign request. I manually add each signer. I manually create every signature field and assign it to the correct signer. I send the request. The most time-consuming part is manually determining who needs to sign and then creating all of the signature fields every single time.Ideally, I'd like the process to work like this: The system reads the document (or metadata within the document). Hello,We have created a Box Sign document template and would like to send it to multiple existing users for signature in an automated way. I am not an admin and have been trying to achieve this using automation tools like Zapier and n8n.Currently, I have a workflow that reads rows from a Google Sheet (containing user email and template ID) and attempts to send a Box Sign request when a new row is added. However, I am encountering permission-related errors (insufficient scope / 403) when calling the Box Sign API.From my understanding, this might be due to missing Box Sign API permissions (e.g., sign_requests.write) or lack of access to Box Sign for my account.Could you please confirm: Do I need admin approval or additional permissions to use the Box Sign API? Is it possible to automate sending Box Sign requests without admin involvement? Are there recommended approaches or tools for this use case (bulk sending via template)?
