I am attempting to share a file with a client that gives them access to upload and download but NOT edit the document. I do not see a way to figure this out.  Can anyone assist with this issue? Thank you, 

I need some assistance and am stymied so far. I have been sharing folders with a co worker. Now I want to add them as an authorized user. The system will not allow it. Please advise

My company has undergone a name change and rebranding.  We continue to do business under the same Federal and State Id's but I need to change the name and domain with Box.  I also want to change the name on my account. Please advise

I have a file where I’m trying to add metadata using a template we have been using in the past.When I try to save the metadata using the UI (when editing the file) I get back the following error:"An error has occurred while updating metadata. Please refresh the page and try again."I’ve tried refreshing the page and repeating the process, but still get the same error.When I happen to look at the Chrome Dev Tool Console window I can see that the Box UI is getting an error response back from an ajax call they posting. The error says:{"message": "Encountered invalid value for template field key=alfrescoCreatedDate with id=eb….","code": "bad_request","request_id": "d…."}This is a hidden field we have had for several years and never ran into any issue trying to save the metadata. It really shouldn’t be trying to do anything with this hidden field.Have any of you run into this? Is there any work around?Support so far has not been helpful.

I`d appriciate it if you tell me how I can activate “Enterprise plan” for my collegues. I just payed for three users including mine, thinking let my two collegues who have free accounts use as well, but I have no idea to do it. It seems I have successed to get my account upgraded to the plan though.I know this is the very basic question but we all just started using BOX and are not used to it. Please tell me if this isn`t a proper way to asking this kind of question.

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING! I must have access to my files, no payment method worked.

We have about 10.000 user sin several regions in the world. We would like to limit admin/co-admin access not only to certain functions but to the data of of their region. EU Admin can only create reports for EU data.China admin can only create reports on China data.Is this possible in BOX?

Enterprise standard edition, HIPAA compliant enviroment. Workflow is external Collaborators are emailing attachments to a folder however, outlook encrypted emails are coming in a *.rpmsg and we can not access the attachment. Seems odd that the email-to-folder workflow wouldn’t work for the most popular email client on the planet. What am I missing?

We currently have standard enterprise licenses. When our external collaborators email an attachment into our incoming file folder. The system also includes the PNGs (like company logos) from the email when all we want is the attachment itself. It appears as though standard relay does not allow for file type filtering so I can’t send all *.png to trash or another folder.  There also isn’t a way to create a default filter for all users to minimize the clutter in the incoming folder. Any suggestions or insights would be welcome! Thank you in advance!

I have two users that I cannot add.Already existing user with an individual account using their company email address Another user that is part of another Enterprise account which also won’t let me add them to our Enterprise account

We would like to try Enterprise.We are in Japan and are stuck with our billing system.We would like to try a quick free trial and continue using it if it does what we want to do.

I’m trying to add a Box Note to a Hub but Box is telling me I don’t have permission to add it.I have Editor access to the root folder and folder where this note is stored.What might be the reason? 

Hi there, We’re a registered nonprofit using Box Sign. We’ve recently noticed that the option to request signatures or sign documents ourselves is no longer appearing in our account. Is there a monthly limit to how many documents we can send for signature under the nonprofit plan? Is there a way to disable the visibility of a specific folder from being able to see the other collaborators having access to a given folder?

Hi,When I went in today, I had 2 users.  I changed the name of one user but kept the email address the same.  Now it says I have 3 users, but I can only see 3.  How do I get rid of the original second user and get back to 2 users on my account?thanks!

helloall of a sudden I cannot open my files anymore, neither the people with the link to may maps and filesI get the message with each of the files that the file may be secured. I nver secured themOr the file keeps pending 

Anyone have step by step instructions on how to send an approval task from the phone? I’ve tried working with my IT team and they can’t figure it out. But I see online that there is a way to do it.
