Hey Team,While my local Box storage occupies <40GB, Box online reports >51GB with same number of files.  Can you please help me understand or fix this issue?Thanks in advance!P.S.: I posted the same issue (old post) a week ago on Support forum and was told that the situation should be automatically fixed in 24 hours.  It has been five days since then but the situation has not be fixed.  Also, adding more comment to the old post does not seem to get the support team's attention.  Hence, I am reposting the issue here.

Hi there, For the last few months, we’ve been having issues with Box Tools integration with Chrome and Edge when using through Workbooks. If we try to open any document inside Workbooks, from Box we get a pop up (snip below) asking us to allow Box Tools to connect. I have checked and this is still switched the allow.  Has anyone got any ideas how to get Box working within Workbooks again?

I am trying to create a file, to which I can share a link with 80+ external users to easily allow them to upload their company’s logo.I’ve tried various setting in creating the link, but can’t seam to get it right.  No one has been successful in uploading any of their logo’s.What is the right way to do this?

Hi,  I have two seats available under my plan, and am trying to add two colleagues to these seats. However, when I add them, I am only given the option to purchase two additional seats. I don’t need to purchase more seats, just assign users to empty ones. How can this be resolved without unnecessary extra charges to my account?

I just completed the Salesforce integration with Box. However, we have many existing client folders that I would like to repurpose as Accounts folders. Is there a way to create the Account association by creating the folder metadata in Salesforce using existing folder IDs in Box. I understand I would need to add the folder Id and account record ID in the meta but am not sure how to see that data in the older box files. Or, if there is a better way to migrate the data, open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance!

For some reason I can’t access my University’s BOX account and when I try to reset the password it says the reset link was sent to an email that doesn’t exist. The university told me I need to talk to BOX. Please help.

No “new” key to upload

I had a client that asked/required a  2 step verification for a job. The job is done.  But I still have to use the 2 step verification sometimes even when I am not dealing with the old client folder etc. The 2 step ver. is a royal pain, how do I remove it?   Many Thanks in advance.

I am using a free account of Box, which provides me with 10 GB of storage. My account settings show that I have used 1.8 MB of that storage. However, when I try to add a file I get the error in the below screenshot. You can see in bottom right of the background that the file failed to upload because “Account storage limit reached”. How can I solve this issue? It’s severely interfering with a project I’m working on.

Hello,I am unable to upload multiple files/images (the most I’ve managed is 6 the last time I tried). I thought this was due to the bandwidth limit issues, but these should be resetted every month (the bandwidth issue was supposedly due to the ClickUp integration and was since resolved). I’ve tried multiple devices/methods with the same results.Thanks for help.

I have an external user who is having problems with 2FA, which we require of everyone. She is using the same authenticator app she uses to access several other school’s Box environments successfully; however, the code it generates in the case of our Box instance results in an “invalid code” error. I’m thinking that a good first step would be to delete the account for our Box environment from the authenticator app and then re-add it, but I’m relatively new to Box and this is my first time dealing with this issue, so I’m not sure of the mechanics. Is there a way to re-generate the 2FA QR code for the external user? Or is there some more obvious fix I’m completely missing? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Description: I am experiencing a persistent login loop with Box Drive on macOS. When attempting to log in, the application redirects to the browser (Chrome) for authentication. Can we invite new people to new folders without sending them automatic notification and email? I'm thinking of making many folders and invite people. It might be annoying to receive automatic notification and email every time people are added to new folders. I'd appreciate if I can know how to add people to new folders without notification and email.

Hey, I just logged in to my Box after a few months not using it, and all folders with my documents are gone. How to have them back?

My file storage was 50gb and it appears that it's been reduced to 10gb.  I've made no changes to my account.  Please advise how this can be restored.  

When I try to open a file through a program like Microsoft Word via Box, it tells me I need to download Box Tools. After downloading it, it says it isn’t found. I’ve checked and both Box Edit and Box Local Com Service are enabled and running in the background. I am running though Google Chrome on Windows 11 and I have been unable to find a solution to this problem. I would love some help fixing this!
