Admin and End User forums

I need to add a user that already has an individual account to be part of our enterprise account.  When I try to add that person as a user, it gives an error indicating that they already have an existing account and can’t be added and when I try to save the changes, it says I don’t have permission to add users.  I am the owner/admin of our account can add and remove other users that don’t have existing accounts.

I cannot get rid of this upload error notice that sits on top of everything in the lower right side of my screen.  How do I get rid of this obnoxious notice?

I need to restrict access to a folder to a certain group of our employees and not allow the other employees access.  How do I do this? 

Some users in my organisation are locking files when editing them, this lock is being put on automatically, it is not something the users are doing manually. We are expecting multiple users to be able to edit the file(s) at the same time with co-authoring.Things are setup correctly for co-authoring for other users as this doesn’t happen with them but I can’t see any different in the setup.

We often have file requests from external users and we currently use email (for non-sensitive files) or go through the process of uploading the file, creating the link, and sending an email with it.  This process can be time consuming so we wanted to stream line this process so that it could be as simple as sending an email for our internal users.We thought perhaps Relay would be the answer, but it does not appear to be able to do what we want.Our thought process was we set a link up that allows our internal users to upload a file.  The upload contains a form with metadata like the recipients email address and a comment (to be included in the body of the message).  We were hoping to be able to create a shared link to the file (possibly with a password that we could make part of the form) and to automagically create and send the link to the supplied email address. If the password could be utilized, perhaps send a second email with the password.It looks like Relay

I want to change my subscription from a free user to a paid subscription. Does the storage upgrade right away? Will I still have access to all my files right away?

I am the Box Admin for our company and set up new users, folders, etc. on a regular basis...One of our employees somehow became an Unmanaged User...any idea how in the world that happened?  I’ve tried migrating him and he swears he hasn’t gotten the email.  I’m tempted to delete his account and start over….anybody????I seriously need to know how it happened and if he did something.  I can’t get a live agent to help me and I’m at my wits end.

Hi,I have a business account in Box, but it doesn’t accept my credentials. I have changed my password several times, but I still cannot access my account and keep receiving an “invalid credentials” error.In addition, I created a new account using my personal email and upgraded it to a business plan for three users. However, when I try to change the email to my old business email, I receive an error saying it already belongs to another account. I also cannot send an invite link to my old business email to add it to the new account. How can I access my old business account to delete it? After deleting the old account, is it possible to update my personal email (admin) to a business account? Best regards,Amir

We are looking to not allow unmanaged users, so we can control new accounts. Is there a way to force this option?

Hello.I recently signed up for the "Business Starter" plan. I wanted a monthly contract, but it was an annual contract. I would like a refund and then change to a monthly contract. I look forward to your response.

I somehow managed to have two accounts for a long time and finally shut down/deleted one of them. I was going to link the email from the deleted account to the account I kept, but the message I’m receiving is that there is already an active account with that email address. How can I make this work?

I’m being billed $8.45/m., but I’m not using Box at all. How can I stop my paid subscription? I don’t see any way to do that on the “account settings” page.  Thanks!
