👋 Hi @peraltaw, welcome to the Box Community!

If the current owner of the folder has left your organization, you'll need to contact your Box Primary Admin, who can help regain access to the folder.

Here’s what your Admin can do:

Regarding ticket submission: it appears your organization has a designated team that works with Box Premier Services. For further assistance, please reach out to your internal helpdesk team.

Looking forward to getting this sorted out! 😊

Hi,

One of the team member has left the organisation and she has not give access to the box folder which has some important data.

Need help to get access to the box folder. Also, you mentioned the admin of the box can transfer the contents, how to find who is the Box Admin so that i can send the request and get the access at the earliest.

Regards, Nitin

👋 Hello @Nitin Bhokare, welcome to the Box Community!

If this team member is part of the same enterprise where you're a managed user, you can contact your account’s primary admin to transfer the user’s contents or invite you as a collaborator.

To find your admin, from the 'All Files' page after logging into Box, click on your name in the top right corner, and select 'Account Settings.'

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. Have a wonderful day! 😊

I have a corporate account. A colleague had shared a folder with me containing a lot of information, but she left the company, and I no longer have access to it.
I know there's a way in Box for my manager to request that this folder be transferred to me since that user no longer exists.

I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how to do this.

👋 Hi @Yulfredy, welcome to the Box Community! I’ve moved your post to this relevant topic that was previously addressed.

If your colleague is the current folder owner and part of the same corporate account you're associated with, you'll need to contact your primary admin to help you regain access to the folder.

To locate your admin, click your name in the top right corner and select Account Settings.

Here’s what your admin can do:

If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to your internal helpdesk team.

Have a great day! 😊

Hi Jey

Thank you very much for your response.

Following your instructions in the Account Settings option, this account appears as administrator.

ibm***@***.com

The administrator account appears in the ADMIN image.

In the Email image a message appears saying that it is an unmonitored account

I appreciate it if you can guide me on how to move forward to recover this folder.

Saludos

Dear @Yulfredy, thanks for bringing this up.

Since you're experiencing issues contacting your admin, based on the email instruction you received, please reach out to your internal HelpDesk for further assistance.

For account security reasons, only the admin or the folder owner can transfer content to another user or change access levels.

Thank you, and I look forward to having this sorted out. 😊
