I deleted file on May 4, 2026 and restored file on May 5, 2026 but it seemed the restored file arn’t fully restore. They appear only the folder but what within the folder are fully disappear and I set the file to be automated deleted for 30 days.My capacity is not full anymore. Please help with this issue.

Excuse me!I’ve had a problem with BOX reset. Is there a way or any instruction that can help me cancel this action. I’ve got stuck with this status for 2 hours after exiting BOX for unintentionally command synchronizing of other folders, which contains more than 300GB data.

I upgraded my plan to the Business account and now numerous folders are empty or missing. How can i get this fixed ASAP since numerous people rely on this information and are actively looking for it?

Box WIndows failed to start. I was unable to access files from Explorer. Navigating to Box.exe and clicking on it started Box. I receved a message that an update was available. I have a Doc Gen template that is ignoring one instance of a template tag variable in the first page footer of the document. The same variable is properly filled in on the generated document everywhere else it is found, including the footer of additional pages. Is this a known issue? The footer affected in this way does not have a “Different First Page” option selected. It is the same footer on every page.The Doc Gen Template downloaded directly from Box is attached as Policy_BoxTemplate_v1An example of the resulting document created from the template is attached as 3000_WIP 

Hello!I need assistance with enabling my account as a free developer account so I can authorize apps and continue developing. However, I keep seeing the message, "Log in or sign up for a Box Developer account to access all of the Developer Console features," even though I am already logged in.If anyone knows what might be happening or how to resolve this, I would really appreciate your help.

I am trying to add a user but it says the email is already used in Box but not associated with an enterprise. How do I add them to my group? 

I uploaded an image file, but the preview doesn’t work and just says “box preview failed to load for this file”. is there anything I can do to troubleshoot?

I have a Relay workflow that is being triggered an excessive number of times and assigning an excessive number of tasks to the same people over and over again, when the conditions for the task to be assigned are only being met once and I make sure to invalidate the conditions as part of the flow, so I can guarantee there is not a feedback loop occurring. I initially thought that the issue might be caused because I was evaluating 16 metadata values to trigger the task, so I implemented a “fix” where when the 16 metadata conditions were met, the flow would update a single metadata value. Then a separate flow would listen only for the single metadata value to trigger the task. However, this seems to have exasperated the problem exponentially, not solved it.Based on that, I would imagine that the solution needs to be cutting down on the number of metadata values being watched for in general, but I can’t let this action fire until an indeterminate number of simultaneous tasks are completed

When I tried to create a free account using my company email address, I received an error message saying "Email address is invalid" and was unable to proceed.I have confirmed that the email address is correct, and I have not already created a Box account with this email address.

I am trying to install box tools but our IT policies require a full offline installer (preferably MSI or a complete EXE installer) suitable for enterprise deployment. Do you support this?

Hi everyone,I’m facing a technical deadlock and I need some help. I accidentally deleted a folder containing 53GB of data (composed of many small files). It is currently in my Trash.However, my account has a 50GB storage limit. When I try to restore the folder, Box prevents the action, stating that the folder exceeds my account's capacity.Since I cannot "open" the folder within the Trash to restore it piece by piece, I am stuck. I cannot restore it to download and move it elsewhere because I don't have enough "active" space to hold it.Could a moderator or support agent temporarily increase my quota or help me restore this folder so I can retrieve my data?Thank you in advance.

we had set up Box few years back and had a different domain name then. we had re branded and wanted to change the Box login to the new one. it did not allow us to do. so had upgraded to business plus plan but even then it was not working.  so have created a new login and uploaded the contents and have bought the business plus plan. now i want to downgrade the older version to a free version as i do not want to pay twice. can anyone assist me with this please as to how this can be done. thank you

I am trying to adjust an external user who is a Collaborator on a Folder between them and my company. When I go into their External User profile, than go into the Folder, permissions and try to change them from “Preview Uploader” to “Viewer Uploader” I am hit with the error pop up “Access level could not be changed”. The external user said they use to be able to edit or delete files if they accidentally uploaded the wrong ones to the folder, but as of the past few weeks they are no longer able to do so. Did something change with the level of permissions that are allowed for an External User?
