When videos are posted for review, the player controls cover the video. This makes it difficult to accurately review the video because the content is covered by the controls, for at least the first couple seconds. Which means if you have an opening they want to watch, they can’t. If they need to proof read graphics/subtitles, they can’t. It really defeats the entire purpose of online file sharing.Why is Box covering my product with the player controls? Can’t they move them off the top of my videos?I see no option to do that. Is there a setting available? Thanks for any help. 

Hello, how can I transfer the ownership of a folder hosted in Box Drive ?

I downloaded BoxDrive, but it does not appear in Finder.The login screen opens, but when I enter my email address and log in, I am returned to the login screen.I am using a MacBook Air with the latest OS.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software.I can use it in my browser.Is there a way to make it appear in Finder? BoxDriveをダウンロードしましたが、Finderに表示されません。ログイン画面が開くのですが、メールアドレスを入れてログインしても、ログイン画面に戻ってしまいます。使用PCはMacBookAirで、OSは最新です。アンインストールからの再インストールなど試しました。ブラウザでは利用できます。Finderに表示させる方法はありますか？

I’m an editor collaborating on a Box with a team. I recently accessed Box on my phone, and I accidentally performed an edit to a folder; however, I’m unsure what the edit/modification to the folder was. All I know is that Box acknowledges I was the last to update that folder. I don’t believe I deleted any files within the folder, as it doesn’t appear in my trash tab. The folder I’m referring to indicates that I was the last to update the folder, but when I open that folder, I don’t see the “Updated by [my name]” in the other files or subfolders integrated into the larger folder. Therefore, what other edits could I’ve made to the larger folder when I accessed Box on my phone that would register as an update to the folder?

I have a folder.I made a box relay to move files to another folder upon upload. How do I add a condition so that i only move files of a certain type (jpeg)? I can’t find any conditional logic.

I’d like to share links with clients so that only their email addresses can access the particular shared folder. I know this can be achieved by inviting them to be a collaborator, but I do not want to require these recipients to apply for a Box account. In other words, I’d like to “register” the users who are able to access a given folder, so that even if the email containing the link is maliciously intercepted, others cannot access the folder. Make sense?My concern is that only sending a link might not be secure.At this time, I only have a free account, so maybe that’s relevant.Thanks! -Ron

I am trying to change my email address as the account I signed up under is being closed. I changed it but made a mistake and was off by a letter. Im trying to fix that but it keeps giving me error messages and will not let me add the new email address. WHat is going on and what cn I do? Thanks. LSJ

Hi, I’m trying to make myself the owner of several folders. The previous owner has left the company. I am an Admin.Here’s what I tried: Login as the current owner via the Admin portal. I changed myself to the owner, but received the error ‘The new owner’s account does not have enough space for the transfer’, but I have unlimited storage. Under user settings I have confirmed that there is no limit set for users. My account is using 20.9 GB. Could someone please assist? Thanks.

I have only uploaded 15GB of data, and my trash is completely empty. We believe that a large number of email addresses are currently on the suppression list, and we would like to delete them via the Enterprise settings.However, the feature description states, "You can remove up to 10 emails per day from this list."Is there no way to delete more than 10 addresses at once? I accidentally deleted a file and it did not end up in the bin, I need to restore it, please help. It is not in the bin on my laptop either, it has just disappeared

All of a sudden -- I cannot preview or see my Box excel files on my laptop.  They work fine on my desktop and phone.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  I have worked with Box technical support and gotten no where.

The BOX drive has suddenly stopped working since 02/Jun/2025.Other users can use it without any problems.The box drive is no longer available, but I can log in and view the contents of the files in my browser.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the BOX drive application and reset the Windows environment, but the BOX drive remains unopen.How can I make it work again?

I`d appriciate it if you tell me how I can activate “Enterprise plan” for my collegues. I just payed for three users including mine, thinking let my two collegues who have free accounts use as well, but I have no idea to do it. It seems I have successed to get my account upgraded to the plan though.I know this is the very basic question but we all just started using BOX and are not used to it. Hello,I changed the primary email addresses of our employees via the Box Admin Console.Most employees successfully received the verification emails and were able to verify their accounts. However, some employees did not receive the verification email. They only received a notification email stating that the primary email address had been changed by the administrator, but the verification email did not arrive.The employees who did not receive the verification emails are using the web version of Outlook and are working on Mac computers.Is there any possibility that emails are not being delivered on Macs, or are there any specific settings required?What we have tried/checked so far: Checked the spam/junk folder Confirmed that emails from notify.box.com are being received Resent the verification email I would appreciate it if you could advise me on how to resolve this issue. I signed up for a Box Enterprise trial with my primary email. I am getting the helpful tip emails but the confirmation email never arrives. I have tried sending many times, and checked junk and quarantine. I can see from an Exchange message trace that this email is not getting to us.I was able to get around this my doing a password reset and now I can log in. However, for certain setting changes I am bring asked for a 2 step authentication code which is being sent by email, which I am also not receiving. Again no sign of it having arrived at our office tenant, so not spam or junk filtering on our end.As a result, I am unable to get this configured before we add more users.
