Hi, my Box account was linked to my old work address which doesn’t exist anymore. Since it seems that Box can’t reset an email address and there is no way to get my files anymore, I want to delete that account but not sure how to do that when I can’t access the account. I also don’t want to keep paying for an account I can no longer use. So how can I delete that account?

Tried to install current Box update and it failed.  I had my Box logs sent.  Please advise.  Thanks. 

For years Box.com has asked me to upgrade.   I finally try personal pro, and you won’t let me and you won’t let me pay, or submit a support ticket.    I tried 2 cards, same response.  Please do not bill me if  you are not going to let me upgrade.

I’m trying to use this Nuget package (https://github.com/box/box-windows-sdk-v2/tree/main) to add metadata to files.I followed all the steps in this guide (https://github.com/box/box-windows-sdk-v2/blob/main/docs/Authentication.md#jwt-auth) using the JWT auth method, to set up the platform app, and set up the authentication in the code. I’m using the endpoint described here (https://github.com/box/box-windows-sdk-v2/blob/main/docs/FileMetadata.md#create-metadata-instance-on-file), but when I’m running the code I’m getting an error saying that the file with the Id I’m giving does not exist. I know this is not true because I can get to the same file in the UI, and the Ids match exactly.is there some special permission I need to give the app in order to access my files?

I have an issue with the Netsuite integration. I get this error, SERVICE AUTHENTICATION ERROR,  when trying to create a folder on a tranaction. I can see this has been raised previously with no comments or resolution. Can anyone assist?

Hi for some reason my desktop app for box.com is not syncing with my browser version Also my colleague is sharing files that i would have typically seen and now they are not been shared.  I cannot find solutions on the box nor can I find a dirrect support email to contact to help . This is extremely frustating as I am spending time trying to sort this out that i dont have. Have tried resetting the computer and reinstalled the box app still hasnt resolved the isssue please help regards Gillian 

I am Japanese and not very proficient in English.I was using BoxCLI on Windows 10, but I have migrated to Windows 11 (*1).I installed BoxCLI version 4.5.0 (*2).The BoxCLI command results in an error (*3).There is no issue with the path setting on Windows 11.Could you please let me know the cause?*1: Enterprise 23H2*2: A window appears saying "The image file c:\Program Files (x86)@boxcli\client\bin\node.exe is a valid file, but it is for a computer type other than the current computer."*3: box-v4.5.0-arm64.exeThank you for your help.

I’ve been experiencing an annoying bug the past few weeks. When I try to unlock a file and the “unlock file” popup appears, I used to be able to hit “return” on my keyboard to unlock the file. Now, “return” dismisses the popup, but it doesn’t actually unlock the file. I have to mouse-click the button to actually unlock. It’s happening in Chrome and Safari. It’s more annoying than mission critical, but I’m curious whether anyone else is experiencing this!

having an issue where every time I open a MS office doc it wants me to "Log in to grant access to Box." It does it every time I open a Word doc and doesn't seem to register. I've had this set up this way for months/years, so I'm not sure why it's being finicky all of the sudden. This dialog comes up both when I fire up a file from a Box/Explorer folder and when I open Word first and navigate to a folder within the Box Drive. This issue is not a problem on my other laptop.

I want cancel my indiv account and have spent 45 minutes following your cancel links.  My account settings does NOT offer the cancel link as your support slides show.  HOW DO I CANCEL my account??

I have tried to follow existing instructions to add a new email and then make that one primary. I NEVER get an option to change the second email to primary. Please help.

Hello,We have a user that using Box Sign to send documents to people in our company. One email address is bouncing back. The email address does work when sending directly but bounces when sending through Box Sign.I found something that said to check the suppression list but the email address is not in there. Any idea why we are seeing this?

We are seeing WOPI errors when opening Office files via Box Drive or Box for Microsoft Office (Desktop) on Windows devices.After troubleshooting, we found that:The issue occurs only when the Windows user profile folder contains Japanese characters (e.g., C:\Users\山田太郎\...).Creating a new Windows profile with English characters only makes the WOPI errors disappear completely.This makes us suspect a compatibility issue between WOPI / Box for Office (Desktop) and non‑ASCII Windows profile paths.However, we cannot realistically rename all existing user profiles in our organization.What I’d like to ask:・Is this a known limitation of Box Drive or Box for Microsoft Office (Desktop)?・Are there workarounds that don’t require creating a new Windows profile?・Has anyone found a practical fix (e.g., config changes, symbolic links, environment overrides)?・Is Box planning support for non‑ASCII Windows profile paths in WOPI?Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. I am Admin.Our Box environment has 4 users. Two of the users are designated as Member permission, one user is a Co-Admin.I need to view/open deleted files from a Member user. How can this be done?

HI, I’m looking to download a folder in the trash bin and it wont let me restore it due to the overlimit storage. I want to download the folder before it gets deleted. Can you assist me- It is schedule for full deletion on the 22nd of this month.

I deleted a user that is no longer with us. I’d like to add their replacement but BOX is listing my Managed Users at 8 while I only have 7. My billing page says I have a seat open, but the “Users & Groups” page says I do not. Screenshots of the pages below.  Help.   

I am exploring a method to restrict certain file types (.exe and .msi for example) from being uploaded into our Box (Enterprise Plus) instance and I don’t see a native way to “block” uploads based on file type. I am thinking the only way to “achieve” this would be to use the Box API to search for files (or perhaps Shield Alert Event list?) with the specific extensions periodically and delete them.Using a normal search, I am concerned about lag time from search indexing, as well as the cadence of that search.I suppose I could create a Classification policy to classify these files by type, then use Shield to apply Security controls on the classification until the file is deleted by the API process or a Governance Policy, or until someone reviews the alert deletes the file manually. Box Relay seems out of the question as it doesn’t seem to propagate into subfolders, nor can I run a scheduled relay to delete based on Classification alone.Are there any clean ways that you’ve accomplished th

Do I need to upgrade my plan as a collaborator to send unlimited e-signs or do I need to upgrade my plan? Please help.

Clicked the "Upgrade Plan" button in the top-right corner. Selected the "Business" plan. Set the total number of users to "3" and selected "Monthly" billing. Hello, Unfortunately I have an outstanding invoice as my credit card has changed,Unfortunately, I always get this error when I try to update my card at https://app.box.com/update. An error has occurred while processing your enquiry.We were unable to process your enquiry. I was attempting to carry out the following steps in order to switch the default email address to one with an alias: Link the target email address using “Link personal email” Change the primary email address to the newly added email address. Delete the email address that was originally set as the primary one. What I did: Linked the target email address using “Link personal email” → Confirmed that a verification (approval) email was sent. Before approving via the verification email, I deleted the newly added email address from the account settings screen (I mistakenly thought there was an error in the alias and intended to revert to the original state once). → Deletion completed successfully. Attempted again to link the target email address. → An error message saying “An error occurred while adding the account” is displayed, and I am unable to link the email address. How can this issue be resolved?

I am getting very frustrated with Wealthbox.xom and Box.com.  I completed a document migration 2 weeks ago, I have the Box.com account but my other users for Wealthbox are being forced to get a Box.xom subscription to access files that we imported.  This is my second attempt at getting an answer from support at Box.xom, which I am beginning to feel is all a scam.

My current email address will expire next month. I tried updating it through Account setting → Link personal email.However it failed and showed an error message ‘There was an error while trying to add ~~~@~~~ to your account’
