Hello, How do I enable email notification for documents uploaded to specific folder using the link? 

I’m running a fairly straight-forward “ask ai question” API call, but it seems to be failing silently and returning a blank.  Using the same agent and prompt on box.com in UI on the same file, I get an answer, but when I call the exact same thing via API I get a blank.  I’m using the older boxsdk in python.  This is what my code looks like:  items = [ { "id": file_id, "type": "file", "content": "This is the document in PDF format" } ] ai_agent = { 'id':'40266263', 'type': 'ai_agent_id' } result = client.send_ai_question( items=items, prompt=prompt, mode="single_item_qa", ai_agent=ai_agent ) And I get this response:{'answer': '[]', 'created_at': '2025-09-12T08:47:04.178-07:00', 'completion_reason': 'done', 'ai_agent_info': {'models': [{'name': 'openai__gpt_5', 'provider': 'openai'}], 'processor': 'basic_text'}}I’m not sure what the issue is, I don’t get any erro

Hello - Our Box Admin is registered to a generic company email and we need to link it to an active user to not need to buy an additional seat. Could you please help us change the registered email that our account is linked to? Thanks. 

When I try to upload data to BOX, it freezes and I get an error message saying "Upload not possible, please try again" (several people are experiencing the same issue).I'm still unable to upload even when I try again on a different day. I'm in the same situation, how do I solve it?

A coworker, who is no longer with the company, was the owner of a folder in Box that contained numerous subfolders. Before they left, I was made the co-owner. However, the folder has since disappeared and is no longer accessible. Since the coworker has left and cannot be contacted, it's unclear whether any changes or deletions were made to the folder before their departure. How can I get the folder back?

Hi,Not sure if this is the right place, I really like Box Notes, but it's kind of difficult to navigate when there are many notes on the left pane, I haven't found a way to filter or display notes based on collections, tags, types or similar, so I have to go over and read every note title to pick the one I was looking for. This could be me, missing some info on how to do it, or an interesting feature request

Currently my files sync to a Box Folder located on my C Drive.  I want to move the folder to my D Drive which has more space.  The instructions I have seen all relate to setting the sync location upon install, but they don’t reflect what you can do when it is already installed.  Does one need to uninstall and then re-install Box Sync to change the location?  Seems like there should be an option to change the location.My Box Sync Options 

I’m trying to access my Admin Console at Box.com. I just get a blank white page. I have tried clearing browser cache. I’ve tried from multiple locations and multiple browsers. I see that others have had this issue in the past but don’t see any solutions. Any suggestions? 

I am currently using a Box Individual account and would like to upgrade to the Starter Plan. However, when I try to complete the upgrade, I receive the following error message: There was an error processing your request.We were unable to process your payment information. Please double check that all fields are filled out correctly and try again, or visit support.box.com for further assistance. I have already double-checked my payment details and tried different browsers, but the issue persists. Hi,I recently had a folder shared with me from another organization. The person said they provided my account access via email and sent me a shared link. When I click the link, I get the following error message:This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you.Think it's a mistake? Using the web interface I uploaded an enormous amount of files to my box, so I left the computer to do it’s thing, and the thing is that whenever there’s an upload failure it pops up for a few seconds before it disappears.Looking in the files count for the uploaded folders I see differences, as if some files where not uploaded.Also, when I try to close the tab or refresh it I get the “Reload Site - Changes you made may not be saved.” dialog, meaning something is still in progress?Is there a way to view the upload history and see which files failed so I can manually upload those before deleting my local copy?

My BOX and Salesforce connection was working fine, and the connection was established between the BOX and Salesforce until last week. Starting this week, I am getting “Invalid Crypto Error” while Salesforce and BOX tries to connect.No, update is being made on the Private Key, and the Private Key is not expired as well, and no updates are being made on the BOX as well. All of sudden, the connection between BOX and Salesforce died on me. I tried to look for this issue in BOX and found this article which is not so helpful. My Private key is not encrypted to follow the encryption. I am using PKCS#8 PEM Format Private Key to connect it to BOX. Any suggestion or help on this issue will be really appreciated.Thank you!

When I shared a file recently, Box asked the recipient to sign up for an account to view and edit that file. Is there anyway I can get around this? 

I have a business plan account and cannot create a support ticket.  I clicked on everything for a long time and I can only reach the support forum.   I tried everything I found on the support forum and still cannot connect to create a support ticket.  If anyone can please assist me.

The restore can be performed only after the deletion process is complete. Please try again later. " message and cannot be restored. Please tell me how to restore it quickly. (I'm not an admin)

Hello, dumb question here as I cannot find just a straight simple answer on this.I am the Box Admin for our organization and I have a managed user that needs their 2FA settings reset due to getting new phone. How can I, as an Admin, reset this user’s 2FA settings so that they can re-register upon login?Do they really need to enter a separate with with the official Box Support? Thank you, A Box Admin

I am missing multiple files, files that I have created and others that were shared via box. Need help to either restore or regain access to these as they are very sensitive.

When videos are posted for review, the player controls cover the video. This makes it difficult to accurately review the video because the content is covered by the controls, for at least the first couple seconds. Which means if you have an opening they want to watch, they can’t. If they need to proof read graphics/subtitles, they can’t. It really defeats the entire purpose of online file sharing.Why is Box covering my product with the player controls? Can’t they move them off the top of my videos?I see no option to do that. Is there a setting available? Thanks for any help. 

Hello, how can I transfer the ownership of a folder hosted in Box Drive ?

I downloaded BoxDrive, but it does not appear in Finder.The login screen opens, but when I enter my email address and log in, I am returned to the login screen.I am using a MacBook Air with the latest OS.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software.I can use it in my browser.Is there a way to make it appear in Finder? BoxDriveをダウンロードしましたが、Finderに表示されません。ログイン画面が開くのですが、メールアドレスを入れてログインしても、ログイン画面に戻ってしまいます。使用PCはMacBookAirで、OSは最新です。アンインストールからの再インストールなど試しました。ブラウザでは利用できます。Finderに表示させる方法はありますか？
