I have some users who are trying to install Box Drive as we transition away from Box Sync before the end of the year. I instructed everyone to first unsync for any files/folders they might have actively synced to on their local Macs and then to run the Box Drive installer which will uninstall Box Sync during the installation. They have been unable to completely unsync their files. Is it necessary to unsync before installing Box Drive? Also, should they sign out and quit Box Sync before running the Box Drive installer? Will anything happen to the source files/folders to which they had synced if they don’t unsync first? Thanks in advance.

Hi,I am facing a challenge using Box Automate/Relay:I have a main folder with about 200 subfolders. Documents are regularly uploaded into these subfolders by various users.My goal is to automate the following process:Whenever a new document is added to any of the subfolders, it should automatically be moved (and renamed, according to a pattern) into a single central folder.So far, I have found that Box Automate and Relay only seem to trigger workflows on top-level folders, not their subfolders.Is it possible to monitor or trigger automation for subfolders with Box Automate, maybe by using loops or a workaround? Any help or experiences would be greatly appreciated!Thanks,Yasemin

I am using Box API v10 via the Node SDK to query for Folders, specifically:client.folders.getFolderItems(parentId) // parentId is a folder name that exists (e.g. ‘QCG Test’) The value I am receiving from Box API does not match the Folder ID found in the URL of the folder when viewing My Account.For Example:My folder name is “QCG Test” with an Id (from Box URL) of: ********5204The value received when I query for this Folder ID from the API returns as: ********0532Note: The values above are edited to censor the full ID. The censored digits do not match as well.

I created an account yesterday to start the Box Starter trial plan. I entered my information and saw a message saying that a verification email had been sent, but I never received the email and was unable to complete the verification.Today, I created a new account using the same email address, and this time I received the verification email without any issues and successfully activated the account.Therefore, I believe that I may have accidentally registered with an incorrect email address yesterday, but I do not know which incorrect email address was used.Since my credit card information was entered during yesterday's registration, I would like to confirm whether that account was activated and whether it might start billing me after the two‑week trial ends.Could you please advise me on how to proceed with this matter?  Thanks.

I have a second Box account with a different email address, and when I log in, nothing I have saved appears. This happens using the desktop search function. On the other hand, I tried using the Android app, and the files load fine through it. Please, I need help… thanks in advance

I don’t need multiple users, I need to look at one file being shared by another company. I can’t log a ticket, it keeps taking me to community pages. Please share an email where I can contact. Really bad UI.

How can this issue be fixed. In one of the shared excel sheets keep getting this message and unable to update the sheet.

Hi! I have worked to update our enterprise settings to make it possible for external folks to have edit access without logging in. It does not currently seem possible. I’m a long time user the free version of Box. All of sudden, I’m getting messages that I have run out of storage. I have now deleted several hundred MB of files, but I’m still getting the out of storage message and I can’t upload any more files. I’ve cleared my Trash...still says I’m out of storage. Yesterday, I was fine. But today, Box says I’m out of storage and nothing is changing after deleting lots and lots of data/ files. Maybe a cache issue? Would love some help from the Box team. Hello,  I would like to retrieve a more recent version of a file that was not saved. Is there any way to do that? There is no cache file on the computer, and nothing in the BOX trash.

Hello,I would like our users to be able to register a security key next to their authenticator app for 2FA purposes. Is there an admin setting which allows registering multiple 2FA options or is this limited to only a single method/type?Thank you,Rene

I had 2-factor authentication enabled and chose to be sent a text message with a code to allow access. Recently, I have not been sent a text or prompted to enter a code. I attempted to disable 2FA and reenable it with a new authentication method. Even after doing this, I was not provided with a prompt for a code to log on
