I upgraded and some of my files are gone. How can I get them back? I don't have a backup so I'm in big trouble.

I would like specific instructions on the best process to share a file containing sensitive information with an outside partner.   Is it best (most secure) to invite them as a collaborator?   Can I require an external collaborator to use MFA to access our Box content?    Is it better to use a shared link, which is open to everyone one, but can be password protected and have an expiration date.   There is a lot of Box propaganda (blog posts) about encryption and it being a secure way to share files, but no specific - step-by-step instructions to share sensitive files using best practices.

We wish to use a Box Note as a template note and then print it to PDF so we can have a client Box-sign it. However, a recent change in Box has left us unable to print more than the first page. Every BN now only allows printing 1 of 1 pages - and that is using the “three dot...print” method. What is the workaround for this? Now we are copying it into a word doc to print which is counter productive.  Thanks!!

Hello Group!My company recently made the decision to not renew our enterprise agreement with Box. We advised our employees that needed to continue collaborating with other organizations that had Box to create their own personal Box accounts. The admins at my company recently received an email from Box that we have hundreds of unmanaged Box accounts, and we found this surprising since we didn’t have a contract with Box any longer. Our thoughts are that the personal Box accounts from some of our employees are using our company email domain, and that’s what generated the email from Box about the unmanaged accounts.Is it possible to get a list of the users that have personal Box accounts that are using our company email domain?

Hello, How do I enable email notification for documents uploaded to specific folder using the link?

Hello - Our Box Admin is registered to a generic company email and we need to link it to an active user to not need to buy an additional seat. Could you please help us change the registered email that our account is linked to? Thanks. 

When I try to upload data to BOX, it freezes and I get an error message saying "Upload not possible, please try again" (several people are experiencing the same issue).I'm still unable to upload even when I try again on a different day. I'm in the same situation, how do I solve it?

Hi,Not sure if this is the right place, I really like Box Notes, but it's kind of difficult to navigate when there are many notes on the left pane, I haven't found a way to filter or display notes based on collections, tags, types or similar, so I have to go over and read every note title to pick the one I was looking for. This could be me, missing some info on how to do it, or an interesting feature request

Currently my files sync to a Box Folder located on my C Drive.  I want to move the folder to my D Drive which has more space.  The instructions I have seen all relate to setting the sync location upon install, but they don’t reflect what you can do when it is already installed.  Does one need to uninstall and then re-install Box Sync to change the location?  Seems like there should be an option to change the location.My Box Sync Options 

I’m trying to access my Admin Console at Box.com. I just get a blank white page. I have tried clearing browser cache. I’ve tried from multiple locations and multiple browsers. I see that others have had this issue in the past but don’t see any solutions. Any suggestions?

When I click the link, I get the following error message:This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you.Think it's a mistake? Using the web interface I uploaded an enormous amount of files to my box, so I left the computer to do it’s thing, and the thing is that whenever there’s an upload failure it pops up for a few seconds before it disappears.Looking in the files count for the uploaded folders I see differences, as if some files where not uploaded.Also, when I try to close the tab or refresh it I get the “Reload Site - Changes you made may not be saved.” dialog, meaning something is still in progress?Is there a way to view the upload history and see which files failed so I can manually upload those before deleting my local copy?

My BOX and Salesforce connection was working fine, and the connection was established between the BOX and Salesforce until last week. Starting this week, I am getting “Invalid Crypto Error” while Salesforce and BOX tries to connect.No, update is being made on the Private Key, and the Private Key is not expired as well, and no updates are being made on the BOX as well. All of sudden, the connection between BOX and Salesforce died on me. I tried to look for this issue in BOX and found this article which is not so helpful. My Private key is not encrypted to follow the encryption. I am using PKCS#8 PEM Format Private Key to connect it to BOX. Any suggestion or help on this issue will be really appreciated.Thank you!

When I shared a file recently, Box asked the recipient to sign up for an account to view and edit that file. Is there anyway I can get around this?

The restore can be performed only after the deletion process is complete. Please try again later. " message and cannot be restored. Please tell me how to restore it quickly. (I'm not an admin)

Hello, dumb question here as I cannot find just a straight simple answer on this.I am the Box Admin for our organization and I have a managed user that needs their 2FA settings reset due to getting new phone. How can I, as an Admin, reset this user’s 2FA settings so that they can re-register upon login?Do they really need to enter a separate with with the official Box Support? Thank you, A Box Admin
