Hello, I’m having an issue with a user who has a few files created and it won’t open on Word Online, when opening the file. It will hang for a long time on the loading screen and then state  Sorry. Word can’t open the document because the service is too busy. Please refresh the page to try again.  We’ve also tried sharing the file with myself and I get the same error.

Hey everyone, I’m wondering if there is a way to share a template that I made with my entire university?   We have a fillable PDF that sits in a template that anyone can access, its in Box, via a community dashboard.   I have converted the PDF to a Box Template using Box Sign to capture signatures electronically.   In order to share the template with others its looks like I have to share via Email account, but Im wondering if there is another way for the template to be university wide without me having to share it everyone that wants to use it.  Thanks for your suggestions.

I recently upgraded my Box account from an individual (1-user) plan to the Business Starter (3-user) package.After upgrading, my dashboard shows that I have 19 managed users, which I believe is incorrect — I should only have 1 user (myself). When I check the User Management section (with the filter set to “All Users”), I don’t see any additional managed or external users listed.This is preventing me from adding two additional users under my 3-user license, and I’m being prompted to purchase more seats that I don’t actually need.Unfortunately, technical support doesn’t seem available under this plan.Any advice on how to resolve this or get in touch with the right team at Box?Thanks!

Hello! We are a company of 10+ users. We want to limit our users since not everyone needs to be on Box. Question, once a user is not an active license, can they still login and see all folders? Or will they go to a standard account?  Second question, if I am a licensed user for the company and my Admin decides to revoke my license, will I lose all access to my folders even the personal ones I crated until I can have access again or will this drop to me to a standard account?

I have since 11 years had a 50gb prompt account. The rest of my family too. We have used it very seldom but now when I logged in to the accounts, they all state "10 GB". Why is that and how can we restore our quota? 

We send out batches of documents for signature. When a signor doesn’t want to sign any of the documents in the batch, it declines the whole batch and we have to set it all up again. Is there a way to set it up so that an approver can remove a document they don’t want to sign, or just decline that one document, and the rest goes through? 

is it possible to see who the creator of a shared link was? And if possible, how can I see this for a specific folder/file?

Hi, I am looking for documentation on how to automatically create a folder structure for each Person Account within Salesforce upon Account Creation.  I see the flow templates, but I’m unsure of where to get the Account Folder Id or where to set up a folder template (and where to get that Id).  I’d appreciate any assistance in the form of documentation and/or video showing how to do this.  Thank you.  

Good afternoon. I am trying to get an automation figured out for my agency and have run into an issue with relay.  . I have the following structure:A main folder called “communication” subfolders made for different instances of communication a folder outside of communication called “complete”  a metadata template called “status” and one of the options is “complete and closed” I would like to have a flow that, when metadata is applied to a file in “communication” that equals “complete”, moves the folder containing that file to the outside folder “complete”.  When i choose metadata event at the beginning of a flow, then choose folder action as an outcome, i can’t figure out how to choose the folder that had metadata applied to it. Is this possible? I am trying to avoid having to move folders individually.  thank you!

Hi,My org is unable to create google sheets via box.  We’re also unable to create a google sheet in google drive, and then save/open it in box via the integration. When creating a new google sheet in any location (and from any user profile), you get “Launching Google Sheets...”, then an error that says: ”Google Docs encountered an error. Hello all. I have a set of data folders I am uploading to Box. However, I would like to have some ONLY in the cloud and others I would like mirrowed on my desktop and with sync activated. Is this possible? If so, please help me understand how to do it. Thanks.

Hi community, How does one go about forcing Box to apply vector-based watermarking, and NOT raster watermarking? My Box is only giving one option of turning on or off watermarking - and when on, only applying the raster watermarking. Very frustrating, as this watermarking kills all links in the doc.  A bit shocked that this isn’t made into an easy option for users of Box. Hi,I think I understand the basics of metadata, as a way to connect documents that would otherwise not connect be connected (say in a folder structure or via search). And the prospect of having AI extract metadata is huge, given that having humans doing this is laborious and error-prone, and thus a difficult and predictably under-used part of Box use until now.What do you (for example, metadata and AI product managers and power users) see as the role of metadata in an era where AI itself can now explore a storehouse of unstructured data via prompts, set up workflows and more.  Realizing there are still likely unknowns, is the innovation of AI metadata extraction something that has a specific purpose now and for the foreseeable future, or might continuing AI developments preclude its value at some point (maybe 5-10 years out, or maybe sooner?).   I’m not meaning to take the glitter off the gold of this fantastic step forward in metadata assignment…it is likely more about my lack of know

I realize this is probably the wrong forum.  And I am sure I am overlooking something simple - but I am having an issue with new users view of folders within Box.  I haven’t had this problem in the 2+ years we have been using Box and I have spent more time than I care to admit trying to figure it out.  For the last two years my existing users will navigate to the folders in Box via the path - All Files>Salesforce Root Folder>Object Folder>Record Folder. All collaboration is granted via the Box for Salesforce integration. They don’t have collaboration rights granted to anything but the selected Record Folders - but they are housed in the above tree and makes their All Files page much cleaner.The issue is that my recent new users (last 2 months) are not getting this same tree.  Instead it is All Files>Record Folder.  And results in a cluttered mess on their All Files page.  Ultimately they can still get the folders and files they need to do their job - but the user experience

It was mentioned on the Box website that Integration Partner API calls are not subject to usage charges. Can you confirm whether API calls made through the CDATA Box JDBC driver are also exempt from counting towards our client’s limit?Additionally, if API calls made through the CDATA JDBC driver are chargeable, could you provide details on:1. The cost structure once the API limit is exceeded.2.
