Hi Box -I just purchased a year of the Business plan, which includes 3 seats.Since I just purchased this, the plan shows just 1 user -- me.But when I try to add another user, it says I will get charged for a 4th seat. This doesn’t seem right.How can I add a user to one of the remaining 2 seats that are included in my plan?Thanks

My program manager has sent me an invitation to share his folders on BOX. Also an associate has shared some files in another folder for another effort. Last week I was able to get access to the associate's folder however I was not able to get access to my Program manager's. I couldn't set up a second box account based on my email address associated with my PM’s invitation.  I tried using both email addresses my PM associates me with.

How do you set up a folder to receive files that include name, email and description from sender? I want to set up our file request just like the SBA has their account set up  

After an Upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 the BOX drive was moved. I am using BOX DriveNormal position for all BOX files is: C:\Users\me_the_user\Box After Windows 11 was installed it ended up in: C:\Users\me_the_user\OneDrive - THE COMPANY I WORK NAME INTERNATIONAL, INC\BOX Is there an easy fix to get things back as it always has been? C:\Users\me_the_user\Box Thank you, Best regards, Marcel Fox

Unable to add user that was previously deleted

I recently deleted a license that was used by a former employee and transferred the data associated with them. Why am I not seeing an available license to assign? I would like to move the license that was occupied by the former employee to our new employee. Thank you, Mike

Hello, I need help from box support team to update primary admin for our company box account. Current primary admin has left the company and we need to reassign the role.Thank you.

My accountant is requiring me to set up 2FA. I have tried setting it up using both the SMS option and the Authenticator app option. I have followed all the steps and saved the changes. Yet when I log out and log back in, it’s letting me right into Box - it’s not requiring 2FA. Usually I use Chrome as my browser, but I decided to try Safari and only the first time did it require me to use the authenticator app. After that it let me in without it. I tried deleting cookies, etc. but it still is not requiring 2FA.

Hi, we have Box Business with three users. It says unlimited storage but somehow only the admin has unlimited storage, the two other users only have 10GB. How can this be solved?

I’ve been running POCs to get a Creative dept project off the ground and Box has been the frontrunner. Completed initial Single Sign-On (SSO) config w/ our Okta tenant late last week, but the status has been stuck at “Awaiting file connection” ever since. No change, no email notifications, and no option to cancel or retry.I can’t find any documentation suggesting there’s anything I can do other than “wait 24 hours,” and it’s been well beyond that. No way to open a formal support ticket. The team is already questioning whether Box is viable based on this experience (“...if this is what support is going to be like”).Does anyone have any advice? We’re completely blocked until SSO is working. Appreciate it in advance!

I’ve tried clearing my cache.  I’ve tried incognito mode.  I just set up this account today and I’m having issues submitting a ticket and setting up users.  This may be the worst product I’ve ever paid for.

Recently, I have experienced an issue where every Excel workbook I open from Box Drive will open with the message “This file has been moved. We recommend saving it now to finish moving it.”Some things to know:It only happens with Excel files, nothing else. The files have not been moved as their location, name, and last modified dates all reflect that which is in Box Online. Uninstalling and reinstalling Box Drive does not fix it Repairing Office does not fix itI have heard of other users having a similar issue but have not seen a resolution from Box yet regarding this.

I have a GoPro 360º camera and the video files come off like {filename}.360 (the file extension is *.360) and for some reason Box doesn't want to upload these files. I have other mp4 files in the same directory that are larger files and upload fine. I suspect the limitation is due to the file extension? Has anyone else seen this, and do you have any ideas for how to workaround it?   Screenshots:

​@community-manager ​- I cannot add/change my email address on my account. It gives me the error: “Oops — that person already has a Box account”even though I deleted the account associated with that email. What do I do? I NEED to change the email on my box account to this other email because the one currently on my account I lost access to.  

How can I permanently Delete my account and not wait for the 120 days? I need my email address to be on boarded onto our corporate Box account.Thank you 

We have been receiving emails as shown below that includes a phishing links. How can we report this without needing to login? Can we report it via email? 

The old Authenticator app is stopping very soon I do have a new app.But no solution for how to transfer it to new Authenticator app.All other I could simple transfer by scanning QR code. PLEASE ADVISE ASAP!!

I deleted a large folder several times from the Box Drive app, and it does not appear in the browser version, but will not disappear from my list of main-level folders in Box Drive. It has a red dot with (I think) an exclamation mark in it. Trying to reduce the size of my list of folders.

Colleague added me as a co-owner to the folder.My collaboration setting is set to auto accept.I did not receive any collaboration email. Not filtered by spam.

I previously subscribed to the Personal Pro $10 plan some time ago. Recently, as my storage was full, I decided to upgrade. During the process, I was shown the Starter $5 plan, which clearly stated “All Personal Pro Features, plus”, and listed benefits such as 100GB storage and 2GB file upload limit. However, after completing the purchase, my account storage did not increase to 200GB as expected, and the additional features also do not seem to reflect what was stated.Could anyone help please clarify:Why my storage did not reflect the upgraded total capacity?If the Starter plan includes all Personal Pro features, why are those features not added to my account?Does the Starter plan add on top of Personal Pro, or does it replace the existing plan?How exactly should the storage and features be calculated based on these plan descriptions?  I’d appreciate all clarification on this matter.
