We invited the user to create a Box account, but it appears they had previously registered with Box. They had set up two-factor authentication using SMS (mobile phone number), but since their phone number has changed, they are unable to receive the SMS and cannot log in.According to the help documentation, in this case, Support needs to remove the multi-factor authentication.Could you please assist with this request?Target user: [removed by moderator]

Therefore, I am posting this new question.We are facing a login issue with a user in our organization, and we use Google Workspace.Here is the summary of the problem: A user previously logged into Box using their Google account. This original Google account was deleted. Later, a new Google account was created using the exact same email address. When the user now tries to log in to Box with this new Google account, they receive an error. I just completed the Salesforce integration with Box. However, we have many existing client folders that I would like to repurpose as Accounts folders. Is there a way to create the Account association by creating the folder metadata in Salesforce using existing folder IDs in Box. I understand I would need to add the folder Id and account record ID in the meta but am not sure how to see that data in the older box files. Or, if there is a better way to migrate the data, open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance!

we had set up Box few years back and had a different domain name then. we had re branded and wanted to change the Box login to the new one. it did not allow us to do. so had upgraded to business plus plan but even then it was not working.  so have created a new login and uploaded the contents and have bought the business plus plan. now i want to downgrade the older version to a free version as i do not want to pay twice. can anyone assist me with this please as to how this can be done. thank you 

Hello,I am trying to establish a connection from one of our servers to a customers server. I have some scripts to ftps a file to their box.com account. The ports are open in our firewall but the command just hangs.I’m curious if because my account [removed by moderator] is a general / basic account if this feature is disabled or not allowed unless you have a upgrade account? i am using my account and trying to push it to the box.com/doi_talent folder which is owned by another customer and i believe they have a paid account with you guys.I’m getting no errors, just does not work. thank you for your time using curl commands

Hello, I was wondering if I am able to reactivate my school email BOX account after deactivating it a few weeks ago. When I try putting in my email after clicking the reactivation link, it says there's an error and I get this message: “There was an error processing your request. The account associated with this email is not eligible for online reactivation. Please contact our Billing Support team at 1-877-729-4269 or billing@box.com.”  I appreciate any help in reactivating the account as I must use it for my school coursework. Hello: I provide IT support for a major university.  I need to download the Box Sync .msi file for installation on a Windows system.Yes, I know Box Sync is being deprecated in December, but I still need the installer.I can only find the installer for Box Drive but not Sync anywhere.   Please advise.Thank you.

Hello, I’m having errors trying to link another email account. I need to change the current emails and according to what I read it’s the only way but I could do it. I was able to add one emails account, when I use the link, the link was expired and I wasn’t able to link again the accound nor another account. How can I do it or what can I do?.

A coworker, who is no longer with the company, was the owner of a folder in Box that contained numerous subfolders. Before they left, I was made the co-owner. However, the folder has since disappeared and is no longer accessible. Since the coworker has left and cannot be contacted, it's unclear whether any changes or deletions were made to the folder before their departure. How can I get the folder back?
