Hello,

How do I enable email notification for documents uploaded to specific folder using the link?

Assuming your global settings are set to not notify you, you would need to right click the folder (or click the 3 dots to the right of it) and then select the “Settings” option for that unique folder.  Then scroll down to the bottom of that folder’s “settings” and select the option to override your global settings and be alerted every time someone uploads to that folder.

Hi,

How about if I want my peers to be notified with the uploads?

We had the same scenario here and the resolution we found was simple and that was to create a Mailbox rule (Outlook or Gmail) in the Owner’s account (e.g., you) to bounce notification emails for that folder to a Slack channel (in our case but could also be a distribution list or individual mailboxes).  By default, however, the notification only goes to you.  You could make everyone a co-owner of the folder and they too could enable the same notification but that just gets messy and who needs so many co-owners anyway.
