I have been invited to an Enterprise Box account which is suppose to have unlimited storage. However, when I upload files it says “Account Storage Limit Reached” can anyone assist?

👋 Hi @Channy, welcome to the Box Community!

If your plan includes unlimited storage but you're receiving a limited space error when uploading to your ‘own’ account, you'll need to contact your account administrator to increase your storage allocation.

For admins: To edit a managed user’s storage allocation:

  1. Go to Admin Console > Users and Groups.

  2. Click the Managed Users tab.

  3. Click the user’s name.

  4. Make any desired changes, including adjusting storage (the admin can set it to unlimited, depending on your account type).

Let us know if you have any other inquiries. 😊

👋 Hi @EV894, welcome to the Box Community! I’ve moved your post to this relevant thread.

The upload error you’re seeing typically occurs when the folder owner’s storage (not the uploader’s) has reached its limit. Please reach out to the folder owner and ask them to check their available storage.

If the owner has limited storage and is part of your organization, your admin can increase their storage allocation. The pinned answer above includes steps on how admins can adjust a user’s storage.

If your two users are still experiencing upload issues after this, please submit a ticket to our Product Support team. Please include the folder path, folder ID, and the folder owner’s email so we can investigate further.

Thank you, and we look forward to getting this resolved.
