HOW TO FIX BOUNCED EMAIL

IF THE PERSON SENDING OUT THE DOCUMENT TO SIGN ACCIDENTLY ENTERS THE WRONG EMAIL FOR THE SIGNING PARTY HOW DO I FIX THE BOUNCED EMAIL ADDRESS?

Welcome to Box Community, and we can easily fix the sign request by editing it. 

 

If the signer’s email was entered incorrectly, you can fix it by editing the sent signature request, as long as that recipient has not signed yet.

How to fix it

  1. Open Box Sign.
  2. Go to the Sign window.
  3. Find the sent signature request.
  4. Click the ellipsis (...) next to the request name.
  5. Click Make Changes.
  6. In the right sidebar, click Recipients.
  7. Replace the incorrect email address with the correct one.
  8. Click Save Changes.

After you save, Box sends the updated signature request to the recipients and notifies the original recipients that the request was modified.

Important limits

  • You can change a recipient’s email only if that recipient has not signed yet.
  • If that recipient has already signed, you cannot change their email address, role, signing order, or authentication method.
  • If all recipients have signed, the signature request can no longer be changed.
