Lost all my files when migrating to nee phone

Can somebody please help me. I installed Box.com on my newer phone and as I logged in all files from my old phone disappeared. It said that now my old phone doesn’t any more have credentials.

 

how to bring back files from old phone a d show them in new phone. I was using Iphone 5s

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll help in finding your missing files! 

 

If the files were already uploaded to Box.com from your old iPhone 5s, they should show up automatically on the new phone when you sign in to the same Box account. Box files live in the cloud, not only on the phone.

Here are the things you need to confirm:

  • Make sure to sign in with the exact same Box account you used on the old phone.
  • In the Box app, look in All Files and your usual folders.
  • If the files were only saved locally on the old iPhone and were never uploaded to Box, they will not appear automatically on the new phone.
  • If you still have access to the old phone, you may be able to recover the files from the device itself or from an iCloud/Finder/iTunes backup, then upload them to Box.
  • If the old phone is no longer accessible and the files were never synced to Box or backed up elsewhere, Box likely cannot restore them.

      My issue was following. I was trying to get to Box.com with my usual password, but it didn’t let me in. When I wanted to change password, I followed the procedure, but somehow a blank page appeared in the process, even if everything went ok. So I couldn’t log in.

       

      i thought I will update my password from a newer phone. I did it successfully. But as soon as i did that I received below email.

       

      i was able to log into my account, but all files including files I shared disappeared.

       

      They are nowhere to be found. I checked deleted files, all files, offline files. They are not there.

       

      Could you help me based on this if there is a way to restore my files.
