We have been in the process of migrating data, and to further validate data migration and other aspects, we are considering upgrading to a higher-tier plan and increasing the number of users.We have a campaign currently applied to our Business organization, which offers a significant discount. Hi, I am looking for documentation on how to automatically create a folder structure for each Person Account within Salesforce upon Account Creation.  I see the flow templates, but I’m unsure of where to get the Account Folder Id or where to set up a folder template (and where to get that Id).  I’d appreciate any assistance in the form of documentation and/or video showing how to do this.  Thank you.  

Good afternoon. I am trying to get an automation figured out for my agency and have run into an issue with relay.  . I have the following structure:A main folder called “communication” subfolders made for different instances of communication a folder outside of communication called “complete”  a metadata template called “status” and one of the options is “complete and closed” I would like to have a flow that, when metadata is applied to a file in “communication” that equals “complete”, moves the folder containing that file to the outside folder “complete”.  When i choose metadata event at the beginning of a flow, then choose folder action as an outcome, i can’t figure out how to choose the folder that had metadata applied to it. Is this possible? I am trying to avoid having to move folders individually.  thank you!

Hello,I'm trying to download big files in chunks using the API, but no matter how I hit the API, if it's by using de c# SDK or by a plain HTTP Client, always is returning me no more than 3600 bytes per call.This is not the entire code, but a summarizes what I'm doing. Hi,My org is unable to create google sheets via box.  We’re also unable to create a google sheet in google drive, and then save/open it in box via the integration. When creating a new google sheet in any location (and from any user profile), you get “Launching Google Sheets...”, then an error that says: ”Google Docs encountered an error. Hello all. I have a set of data folders I am uploading to Box. However, I would like to have some ONLY in the cloud and others I would like mirrowed on my desktop and with sync activated. Is this possible? If so, please help me understand how to do it. Thanks.

Hi community, How does one go about forcing Box to apply vector-based watermarking, and NOT raster watermarking? My Box is only giving one option of turning on or off watermarking - and when on, only applying the raster watermarking. Very frustrating, as this watermarking kills all links in the doc.  A bit shocked that this isn’t made into an easy option for users of Box. Hi,I think I understand the basics of metadata, as a way to connect documents that would otherwise not connect be connected (say in a folder structure or via search). And the prospect of having AI extract metadata is huge, given that having humans doing this is laborious and error-prone, and thus a difficult and predictably under-used part of Box use until now.What do you (for example, metadata and AI product managers and power users) see as the role of metadata in an era where AI itself can now explore a storehouse of unstructured data via prompts, set up workflows and more.  Realizing there are still likely unknowns, is the innovation of AI metadata extraction something that has a specific purpose now and for the foreseeable future, or might continuing AI developments preclude its value at some point (maybe 5-10 years out, or maybe sooner?).   I’m not meaning to take the glitter off the gold of this fantastic step forward in metadata assignment…it is likely more about my lack of know

I realize this is probably the wrong forum.  And I am sure I am overlooking something simple - but I am having an issue with new users view of folders within Box.  I haven’t had this problem in the 2+ years we have been using Box and I have spent more time than I care to admit trying to figure it out.  For the last two years my existing users will navigate to the folders in Box via the path - All Files>Salesforce Root Folder>Object Folder>Record Folder. All collaboration is granted via the Box for Salesforce integration. They don’t have collaboration rights granted to anything but the selected Record Folders - but they are housed in the above tree and makes their All Files page much cleaner.The issue is that my recent new users (last 2 months) are not getting this same tree.  Instead it is All Files>Record Folder.  And results in a cluttered mess on their All Files page.  Ultimately they can still get the folders and files they need to do their job - but the user experience

I would like to clarify the API call limitations when using the CDATA JDBC driver. Specifically:1. Are there any restrictions on the number of API calls that can be made using this driver?2. It was mentioned on the Box website that Integration Partner API calls are not subject to usage charges. Can you confirm whether API calls made through the CDATA Box JDBC driver are also exempt from counting towards our client’s limit?Additionally, if API calls made through the CDATA JDBC driver are chargeable, could you provide details on:1. The cost structure once the API limit is exceeded.2. Whether the Business Plus plan (which includes 50,000 API calls per month) covers these API calls, or if they are treated separately.We understand that the final decision on API call charges rests with Box, but we would appreciate any clarification you can provide to ensure proper planning.

I need to get video from a YouTube link to my Box account.

For at least a week neither I nor my coworker have been able to upload any files to the Box. We have tried large and small files and get the same error. It looks like it uploads to 100%, then spins for a few minutes before saying there was an issue and to try again.We can still download, though. Is anyone else having these issues. I’ve tried this on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge with three different computers and get the same result each time.

If I'm logged in with another account and type in "https://app.box.com/", I get redirected to the page of the account I'm logged in to. How does this work?

 I was looking forward to the above update of “Announcing Box AI extract agents - 1. Extract agents in UI Preview,” which was released yesterday.  However, I couldn't find this update in the UI Preview of any document.It seems that the "Metadata" menu on the right side remains unchanged from before the update.  If anyone knows where this update has been applied, I would appreciate your help.Thanks!

We have suddenly noticed that Downloading files via the web interface is not working on any files, and our public Shared Links are prompting users who view it to sign in. I don’t see anything on the status page indicating an ongoing incident. Is anyone else currently experiencing the same thing?

Hi there,I cannot generate the token using the credentials grant. I can however use the temporary token from the portal to upload the file.I am using the client credentials grant method mentioned in this URL: https://developer.box.com/guides/authentication/client-credentials/I have double-checked the box_subject_type and box_subject_id along with client_id and client_secret. It used to work a couple of months ago. The error I first started noticing was 4th of October 2024. Can you please help me with this?  

Is it possible to block IP addresses for accessing our Box environment? I know through Shield we can set up alerts based on IP location, but not a specific IP address (at least to my knowledge).
