Is there a bandwidth limit during migration? We’re trying to find another solution for our company and want to subscribe to your business plans but we’re currently with OneDrive and I see there’s a onedrive migration. However, the issue is we have more than 20TB right now on OneDrive and it says the bandwidth cap is at 1TB a month??? It would take us 20 months to migrate over. How would anyone migrate over?

Hi @julieboston123

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll be answering your question regarding bandwidth limits for content migration.

Yes, it’s true that content migration is subject to bandwidth limit. Your account uses Bandwidth when folders, files, and other data are downloaded, uploaded, migrated, previewed, moved on or off the Box Service or otherwise accessed in the Box Service. This includes without limitation the use of tools such as Box Shuttle and Box Drive and third party tools not provided by Box.

Box monitors Bandwidth for fair use purposes on an account basis and a shared link basis.
