Hi community - we recently implemented Box GxP for Box Sign and we are used to having DocuSign send us the signing log as an appendix to the signed document itself.  With Box Sign, the document is separated from the signing log though you can download the latter from clicking on the three dots inside the Box Sign details screen for the document.  To that end, I want to know if there is a way to download the Box Sign log as an API call or somehow magic it so that both documents can be downloaded simultaneously.  I don’t necessarily need them joined like DocuSign would do but I definitely need to be able to pull down that Box Signing log with each document.  If it exists in the details screen, my assumption is there must be a way to retrieve it via the API.  Any and all suggestions are welcome!! Nate

The Download button only flashes on the screen at the beginning for a second and then vanishes, YES, DOWNLOADS were AUTHORIZED When the link was created. How can I fix this?

Hi! I am trying to see if it’s possible in the desktop version of Excel when saving back to Box, to tag their my team via the Microsoft directory in specific cells. Unfortunately Box doesn’t allow me to do this. Is there a workaround? TYIA!

I put Box Sign projects on hold for a year in hopes box.com would fix various web UI bugs insigning documents.Sadly, I still see an unacceptable overstrike and now even multiple font sizes on that overstrike, etc. But now that I’ve come back, I find that I can no longer get CCG to work with the User ID set inthe app.  ( CCGAuth() in Python SDK. )  The initial authorization works when using Enterprise IDBUT that is not what I want because when using the Enterprise ID, it never could access mytemplates--They were only accessible when using the user id.  (the User ID in the app config.)( It was previously able to access them when using the “user” argument to CCGAuth(). )I changed nothing.  It stopped working.  Yes it was still authorized then reauthorized for good measure.Is this a bug or a feature?  And is there a way to get the old behavior?  Other than this:Sadly I had to switch back to regular OAuth2 using the annoying 1 hour temporary dev tokenswhere it still will access the template

I can't login because Box.com keeps telling me I need to change my password. I've now changed it twice and I'm stuck in a loop of frustration.BTW, the number of questions I have to answer to post this topic is unprecedented in my experience.

I’m using the Obsidian app to learn Mandarin, and it creates markdown files. I back it all up to Box.I came across a problem where I can’t create files with pinyin in the names. Mandarin has a lot of homophones, and I wanted to be able to organise them as they come up.As an example, take yi. It could be written yī, yí, yǐ, or yì, according to whichever tone it takes. However, I can’t create filenames using any of the variants with a tone as Box sees them all as ‘yi’, telling me I’ve already named a file this.I was hoping that someone, even if they aren’t using pinyin, might have needed to create names in languages that use diacritics of any other kind that might have generated this conflict.When I try it doesn’t change the tone mark over the word, but it does append my email address because there’s a naming conflict. If I put a third pinyin with another tone it does the same, but adds a 2 to the end of the email, and so on. This makes a mess within Obsidian.I don’t have any problem cre

I can’t login it says the following:“We found an issue with your accountGoing forward, Box will require that your Google account address matches your Box account address.” None of the login paths work - google email isn’t connected to the account and my personal email is giving this error. The ID used in the Get Sign Requests by ID endpoint is a 36-character alphanumeric string; the same type as returned from “id” in the response from Create Box Sign Request. Where can I find this id in the UI?The only IDs I can find in the UI are an 8-character alphanumeric “Request ID” when viewing a Sign Request > See Details, or a 13-digit numeric ID on the in the sign request’s document URL. Neither of these work when trying to use the Get Sign Requests by ID endpoint. Alternatively, can I retrieve this elusive ID via an endpoint, using either of the two IDs I can see in the UI?

I was initially looking for a way to eliminate the “purplish” highlight showing up on some of the text in my Box Notes. The “fix” from support is to click on the highlighter icon in the upper right corner. Unfortunately, I do not see a highlighter icon in the upper right corner and can’t seem to find any option or preference to make it appear.

I’m building an automation that triggers a folder creation in Box, then using that new folder I’d like to send the file_request url of that folder to a customer so they could upload documents to that folder. Each automation will have it’s own separate folder. The problem is I can’t seem to find a way to retrieve that file_request url for users to upload their files to unless I manually go into the console and copy it. Is there another way to automate this process? It seems silly that we can query the shared_link for a folder, but not the file_request. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks 

I would like to download the signed document after all the signers have completed the signatures. In trying to do so, I am trying to call download API by providing the file id:https://{{api.box.com}}/2.0/files/{file_id}/contentAfter checking the status of sign request, which is “signed”, I am trying to download the document. However, it is still resulting in the document which is not signed/without signatures.Can you please help me understand, how to get the signed document through API.Thanks in advance.RegardsVenky

Hi everyone, We’ve explored options to be able to prevent any user (even co-owners) from accidentally Moving or Deleting certain critical root folders within Box. Right now the only option I have found is to use the Folder Lock endpoint via the Box API, however this is not very accessible to non-developers and we need our business users to be able to enable and remove these locks as needed. Has anyone found a way to manage these Folder Locks in a more user friendly way via the Box UI? Thanks!

As I understand it, the Enterprise plan includes a limit of 100,000 API calls per month. Upon reviewing the Admin Console, I noticed there are "Chargeable" and "Non-Chargeable" API calls. Could you please clarify if "Non-Chargeable" API calls are also counted toward the 100,000 API calls per month limit?

Or does the contracted plan of the user of the app affect the API call limit?

Hi there! I’m hoping to audit users to ensure that everyone is on Box Drive instead of Box Sync, we’ve been trying to change all our users over to ensure they’re on Box Drive and more up to date!Is there a way they can monitor this or pull a report on this in Box?
