I received an email purporting to be from this site regarding “Box Sync end of life”; is this legit?

Yes, it’s true that Box is retiring Box Sync and we’re rolling out a 12-month notice.

So does that mean Box have finally been able to resolve the Box Drive issue of keeping data cached even after folders had been fully unsynced, causing devices to run out of disk space?
