Got E-mail for confirm email preferences by March 31, 2025.

I and some staff in company received an email this year from boxteam@customer.box.com asking me to verify my email preferences. Could you please confirm whether this email is legitimate and if I need to take any action to verify my preferences? Thank you for your assistance.

Customize your Box home page

The default home page of the Box web app is your All Files page, which can be sorted by name, updated date, or size, but what if you want more control over how your home page is organized? You can create your own list of Favorites, or create multiple lists, known as Collections, and use either as your default home page. I personally find having my home page set to Favorites as a huge time saver because I can pin my most used folders and files there for easy access, which cuts down on time spent navigating or searching. First, to add a file or folder to Favorites or a Collection, hover over it, click the star-in-a-box icon, and choose where you want to add it. I just downloaded the Box app for my MacBook. However, after completing the installation and trying to log in, when redirected to the browser for login, the app remains stuck and does not log in. What is the solution to this issue? to be honest, it’s annoying.

Box AI is in my way

How can I either Remove Box AI from my toolbar at the right or at least move it so that it is not defaulted to the top and forcing me to click on comments for every file. I get it, AI is your new fancy gizmo, but it’s utterly useless for me and my team. Box is a storage solution first and foremost, don’t force me to use the AI tool.

How to use Relay to reverse the flow of a document

In most of the Box Relay demos, I’ve seen the happy path where a file is moved forward along as everyone agrees with the document. Is there a way to Reject a document and notify the originator and send the document back to an existing folder? I don’t immediately see a way to do this. Is there a standard template that addresses this?

Change Box Drive trash behavior on Mac?

I recently switched from Box Sync to Box Drive and find the way it handles trash frustrating. With Box Sync, deleted files went to the local Mac trash, allowing easy recovery. But with Box Drive, deletions are permanent and don’t appear in the Mac trash. I’m worried about accidentally losing files. Is there a way to restore Box Sync’s trash behavior with Box Drive?

Unable to upload files to Box

For at least a week neither I nor my coworker have been able to upload any files to the Box. We have tried large and small files and get the same error. It looks like it uploads to 100%, then spins for a few minutes before saying there was an issue and to try again. We can still download, though. Is anyone else having these issues. I’ve tried this on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge with three different computers and get the same result each time.

Our division have started using box relay for application, circulating a document for approval. I have set a file request so that users can drag and drop their document and then automatically proceed the flow.I struggled one thing: if users drag and drop the multiple document, they don’t move together and approver receive multiple e-mail.Is there any way to move together all the documents (link function or something)

Recent Update Related to 'Metadata Extract Agents in UI Preview'

I was looking forward to the above update of “Announcing Box AI extract agents - 1. Extract agents in UI Preview,” which was released yesterday. However, I couldn't find this update in the UI Preview of any document. It seems that the "Metadata" menu on the right side remains unchanged from before the update. If anyone knows where this update has been applied, I would appreciate your help. Thanks!

Can I limit emails on box comments at the Folder level?

I want to turn off emailing notices of Box comments at the Folder level. In other words, I want to use Box comments and I want collaborators to use comments too. But I do not want the Box comments to be sent by email notifications. I know how to turn off Box comments for myself, but I want to control all comments on this specific folder. Thank you for your help, Kathy

I can see the file statistics but the downloaded csv report for that file statistics is headers only.

I can see the file statistics but the downloaded csv report for that file statistics contains only the headers: Date, User Name, User Email, Action, Affected, Details. There are no statistics displayed in the .csv file report that would show the activity on that file. I can see the statistics but when I download them as a report, it is blank.

Help with Account access required yet no response from support team

Hi there everyone - one of our ex -team member box account have been the master folder which we save a lot of our work and now his access to box have been blocked as he have left some months back and we did not realise it until we could not access our files today. new app update not working?

Anyone having problems with the latest update of BOX Mobile? I can’t scroll between photos I just get an eternal loading sign. Often it freezes in one photo and I can’t hit the X button to close out or switch to any other menu. I can acesss the menus but none of the buttons work. I’m at the point I have to close Box Mobile and reopen it every single time I want to switch to a new document. It that just my device or is this happening elsewhere? Trying to decide whether to submit a ticket.
