サインアップの際、「処理中に問題が発生」の表示が出て、サインアップが完了できませんでした。

再度同じメールアドレスでサインアップを試みますと、「無効なメールアドレス」と表示され、サインアップができなくなりました。

初めに「処理中に問題が発生」のエラーが出た時、VPNを通じてでの操作をしており、もしかしたら、メールアドレスの登録が中途半端に残ってしまっていると想像されます。

対処方法を教えてほしいです。

I completely understand your concern about sign up. Once an email address has been used to register for a Box account, it cannot be used to create a new one.
