Question

Anyway to sync personal edition with Linux?

Seems that every time I find a way that might work, box changes everything.

As I understand it, none of this will work: any kind of ftp, webdav, box drive, rclone.

I think there are utilities people have created, but none of those work anymore.

Also, box.com no longer works as external storage with Nextcloud.

Just hopeless?

👋 Hi @walterbyrd, welcome to the Box Community! I understand you need assistance with sync.

Box does not officially support Linux OS. We currently support OS such as Windows, Windows Server, and macOS. Please see Understand the Box Policy For Browser And OS Support to learn more.

Box.com no longer supports WebDAV. Official support ended on April 28, 2023 as announced here, so it is no longer possible to use WebDAV to connect Box with Nextcloud. Since Box cannot be mounted directly, you may want to check Nextcloud’s documentation for the list of currently supported external storage providers.

We apologize for any limitations. You may wish to submit these as feature requests or share your feedback through Box Pulse. Our Product teams review this feedback directly when considering future enhancements.

In the meantime, please let us know if you have any other concerns or questions.
