Is there a way of adding the folder description to all the files inside. Or is there a way of selecting ALL files in a folder to have the same description. I need all my files to have the same description, however I have 100’s.It is taking a long time to copy, paste then click next as they are all large images. Thank you

Hi I would like boxes to autofill with information Box already knows (like signatory name) when using Box sign. Currently I have to type this all in manually before sending for signature. This is a big sticking point for not moving away from another signature service as it really slows us down. I see an article on how to do this in SalesForce but why not within Box?

Seems that every time I find a way that might work, box changes everything. As I understand it, none of this will work: any kind of ftp, webdav, box drive, rclone. I think there are utilities people have created, but none of those work anymore.Also, box.com no longer works as external storage with Nextcloud.Just hopeless? 

HI,after copy the box link , i can only got the box link after paste it.but my friends can paste the link as the box name , which can easily see what the link ralated .does any one knows how to set this function?thanks in advance

I'm sharing a box drive with a friend,I'm the only one who cannot delete or rename files or folders, and I can only add files.When viewed on the web, I don't see a menu for deleting files at all, and even in the desktop client, files revert back to their original state after being deleted or renamed.How can I get things back to normal?

Hi, How to make my Microsoft word file that can be edited without logging in to Box account? If I created the sharing link, then I can open the link anywhere and edit the file or the person that i share the link can edit the file without logging in? Any  help on this? Thank you

Are there any limitations in using shared links for non-Box users?I have created a document with about 800 shared links in Box. I am a small user in the free area, number of data is just above 6GB devided over >800 files in about 10 folders. This database is built in about 5 years. The shared links are for the files, permissions for people with the link, they can read and download.Up till last week it worked fine, but suddenly downloads do not work anymore. Not for myself when I am not logged in not for people from Australia, England and France...to mention a few.The people who use it are for instance Facebook users with no Box account.

I cannot get rid of this upload error notice that sits on top of everything in the lower right side of my screen.  How do I get rid of this obnoxious notice?

Has anyone figured out how to add a note during a SIGN routing?  We want to add a simple note during the routing of a SIGN document(s) that adds a simple note to someone down the routing line.  How do we add a note without completely cancelling and resending the SIGN package?

We often have file requests from external users and we currently use email (for non-sensitive files) or go through the process of uploading the file, creating the link, and sending an email with it.  This process can be time consuming so we wanted to stream line this process so that it could be as simple as sending an email for our internal users.We thought perhaps Relay would be the answer, but it does not appear to be able to do what we want.Our thought process was we set a link up that allows our internal users to upload a file.  The upload contains a form with metadata like the recipients email address and a comment (to be included in the body of the message).  We were hoping to be able to create a shared link to the file (possibly with a password that we could make part of the form) and to automagically create and send the link to the supplied email address. If the password could be utilized, perhaps send a second email with the password.It looks like Relay only supports adding co

I am using my company box storage.. but i can’t store my files (bill paid)

I somehow managed to have two accounts for a long time and finally shut down/deleted one of them. I was going to link the email from the deleted account to the account I kept, but the message I’m receiving is that there is already an active account with that email address. How can I make this work?

Hey! Hope all is good, we’re encountering some issues uploading folders/files to box.We work with photoshop, our working files automatically generate a folder with the assets designed. We’ve been noticing that since using box some assets are not being generated and the issue seems to be related to the path (see image attached)After asking Ai about this issue, and it said: Because Box folders are mounted as network drives on Mac (under Locations in Finder), the full file path can become very long. macOS has limits on file path length, so when the combined folder and file names exceed that limit, the error appears. Do you know how to fix this?

I just accepted Enterprise but need to segregate my non-org existing files. As I hit accept I noticed something about personal account. I need to keep the existing content separate from the org content.

Hey! Hope all is good, my peers have been encountering an issue with box showing a red exclamation point when trying to upload files. They tried retrying the action, but it didn’t work.  When trying to upload the same documents via browser, this pop-up appeared: She removed the word “Store” from the folder and it worked. Can you explain why this happened?

Hi,Not sure if this is the right place, I really like Box Notes, but it's kind of difficult to navigate when there are many notes on the left pane, I haven't found a way to filter or display notes based on collections, tags, types or similar, so I have to go over and read every note title to pick the one I was looking for. This could be me, missing some info on how to do it, or an interesting feature request

Hi My colleague Gary Loebner, is a sole practitioner as myself invited me to look at statements of a client he  transferred to me.  I would log into his box and view the statements. my work email is a*****@*****.com ( this is my real work email )  I got my own free box account so my admin assistance can assist me. This is under my other google other email had to be used because my work email was not working on this Box or the other Box. To share with my office admin I log in as j*****@*****.com. So I want to be able to use my email a*****@*****.com to see Gary ‘s info but I cannot not nor can I log in on the other Box.  Thanks, Joanie Ambrosio

Hi,Do you know if there’s a way that the user who assigned a task to another user, can also marked it as completed? Some users complete their tasks, but don’t change the status. Thanks! 

When I login in I am no longer attached to the group I was signed up under. I can’t access files or upload files they need.
