Is there a way to organize templates?  It is hard for me to find templates the way I have them now.

Hi all, and developers，I am an assistant from a company where some of us have the individual account, while some senior and managers would have the Business and Enterprise account . We recently set up a relay with the Business and Enterprise account, which basically would alert certain managers when there is a file uploaded to a box folder. and now there is a problem:When another Business and Enterprise user upload the file, it will trigger the relay; But when an individual account user uploads the file, it will not. Is there any way to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Feature request to autosave Hubs once one is generated.  Users tend to work in a hub and accidentally close it before saving their progress, or have progress lost if they are on the move and lose internet.

Can others still view, but not modify a file that I lock?

One of the most important 1st steps when starting out with Box is planning your folder structure. Checkout this article which covers the following points.  Here are some questions to consider before designing your Box folder structure:Who moves, owns, and maintains the content? What root level folders make sense for your org? This is typically based on the departments, regions, or groups using Box. Does your organization prefer to give users the ability to create and manage their own top-level folders? Or does your organization prefer to own (and control) all root level folders? Do your Admins and co-admins need full access to users' content? Are different levels of access needed for users, or are groups appropriate? Are there any particular security needs around any of your content? Folder Structure Basics:There are two basic Box folder structures to choose from: open folder taxonomy and closed folder taxonomy. The taxonomy you choose is largely based on your internal security protoco

I am trying to create a workflow for User Access Requests. I created a form for submission and have a workflow that triggers upon the submission of the form. I am using the doc gen template to capture the information submitted by end user. I want to route the form for approvals/signature before processing. However, the pdf form generated has tags and raw info that I don’t want to present to end user. How can I only display the user info and access requested on the generated pdf instead of all the tags.

I am using SolidWorks CAD software and trying to Open these files through the Box Drive on my PC. I can see everything there and in the original proper structure but cannot open the ones with clouds. These are all my own files that I share with one other collaborator. I have used Box for this for the past 2 years and had no problems. Recently we had to move the files to a new account and since then most (but not all) of my files have these clouds under the “Status” heading and I can no longer open them.

I am a lawyer and a few folks at my firm started using Box a week or so ago on a trial to see if it would be a good for the firm. However, I was unable to sign up with my [removed by moderator] , so I used my [removed by moderator] . After looking into it further, I discovered that years ago a paralegal (no longer with the firm) setup a Box account with my [removed by moderator] , but under her name, in order to receive some [removed by moderator] securely. I was able to reset the password on that account, but could not change the name and therefore could not link it to my trial account. To try and fix this, I deleted that ( [removed by moderator] ) account. This did not fix the issue, so I am still stuck with my [removed by moderator] on the Box account linked to my firm, which is not a good solution.Any ideas how to resolve this?

Although I'm a premium subscriber, I'm seeing only editor and viewer level permissions which allows users to download. I want my collabotors to have only preview permission. They should not be able to download. Where to get this level of permission activated.

Is there a way to send a file by e-mail (Outlook) to dedicated Box folder?

Hi,I was wondering if anyone knows how to link box with spyder? Thank you,

Hi there, I need to share a link with many people outside the company. However, the "Non-private custom URL" setting is disabled (greyed out) in my sharing options.Could you check if there’s a restriction on my account or if you can enable this for me? Thanks!

We know how quickly your Box Drive can fill up with files and folders, especially when you’re collaborating across multiple projects. That’s why we’re excited to introduce a new way to stay organized: the ability to hide files and folders in Box Drive! 🗂️ What does this mean for you? Declutter your workspace: Curate what appears in Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows) so you only see what matters most. Safe & secure: Hidden items remain in your Box account, fully preserved and always accessible from Box.com. Searchable & available: Even if hidden, your files are still searchable in Box Drive. Personalized control: Hiding is personal and device-specific—it doesn’t delete content, change permissions, or affect what your collaborators see.  This feature lets you streamline your view, tidying up your digital desk so everything you need is there—without the clutter.Learn more about how to use this feature:👉 Hiding files and folders in Box Drive  Questions? By integrating Box AI directly into these portals, we enable users to query vast amounts of trusted content and get accurate answers in seconds. In case you missed it, here’s some of the latest features on Hubs: Pages in Hubs: Build complex knowledge sites with dedicated pages for different topics Link previews: Display link previews to Box content and third party content like YouTube, Figma, and more Change notifications: Send change notification emails to keep collaborators up to date on the Hub Hub AI chat embedding: A game-changer for developers—embed the Box AI Q&A chat widget directly into third-party websites or apps.  A

Regarding emails sent to everyone from Box, I want to add line breaks in the email body. Please tell me how.

How can I either Remove Box AI from my toolbar at the right or at least move it so that it is not defaulted to the top and forcing me to click on comments for every file. I get it, AI is your new fancy gizmo, but it’s utterly useless for me and my team. Box is a storage solution first and foremost, don’t force me to use the AI tool.

Is there any way to provide a single Box link to end-users so that they can download files & upload files without a Box account?Right now it looks like we have to use 2 links to do that:To share documents to allow others to view and download content that you send to themBox Shared Links:https://community.box.com/t5/Using-Shared-Links/Creating-Shared-Links/ta-p/19523 To share a link where users can upload files intoBox File Request:https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/ [removed by moderator] -Introducing-Box-File-Request

I’m trying to prevent what appears to be an authorization or syncing issue: sometimes, a file gets automatically duplicated by Box with one of my email addresses appearing in parenthesis after it. I and I alone access this file from multiple different devices---and sometimes by a different email address or login (that I also own). How do I let Box know which email addresses are authorized to be able to access the same file? It’s not clear to me where in the Settings I would need to go to do this. Note that I close the file each time that I use it (regardless of which email address I’m using at the time), so I don’t believe it is a timing or syncing conflict issue). Thank you.

HI, I’m looking to download a folder in the trash bin and it wont let me restore it due to the overlimit storage. I want to download the folder before it gets deleted. Can you assist me- It is schedule for full deletion on the 22nd of this month.

I have been a video that is 15 hours long.  I can only view the first 10 hours and then it stops.  How can I view the rest of it?

BOXでデータを共有していたのですが、相手が辞めてしまったみたいでデータが無くなって見れなくなった。データをダウンロードする方法はありますか？ I was sharing data on Box, but it seems the other person has left the company, and the data has disappeared and can no longer be viewed. Is there any way to download the data?

My program manager has sent me an invitation to share his folders on BOX. Also an associate has shared some files in another folder for another effort. Last week I was able to get access to the associate's folder however I was not able to get access to my Program manager's. I couldn't set up a second box account based on my email address associated with my PM’s invitation.  I tried using both email addresses my PM associates me with.

I created a folder and am trying to add someone as a collaborator (editor). When I send the invitation, I immediately get an email message saying that he has accepted the invitation, but he hasn’t. When he tries to log in using the link, it wants him to create a new account and pay for it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
