Hi,Do you know if there’s a way that the user who assigned a task to another user, can also marked it as completed? Some users complete their tasks, but don’t change the status. Thanks! 

When I login in I am no longer attached to the group I was signed up under. I can’t access files or upload files they need.

When I shared a file recently, Box asked the recipient to sign up for an account to view and edit that file. Is there anyway I can get around this? 

I recently started to run my own consulting, while employed full time. I have been using Box professionally and personally for many years. Now, I want the Business account for my personal account (bc of the features) -  but don’t need three accounts?! Will that ever change?

When I try to sign on with my correct email address of <personal information redacted> I receive the message telling me it is an incorrect email address. I think I must have put in the wrong email address when setting up account. I think i put in <personal information redacted>. How do i correct?

I need to send files to people outside of my organization.  How do I do that using BOX.  The notice when I try says that I am unable to send files to certain  Addresses and off site addresses due to security concerns with email addresses even though they are certified email addresses

Hi, I inadvertently added a misspelled word to the Box note dictionary. How can I remove the misspelled word from the dictionary?Thanks. 

Hi, i am using HP Envy laptop with Google chrome and home based wifi. I have been invited by a paid user to access some folders in the company. When i log into my account i see a blank screen.

how can I see the list of the full universe of folders that I'm own in box and also the people that have access into these folders?I want to avoid to go folder by folder

I uploaded a pdf file and when I try to open it I get this notice. I have adobe reader x or later. Any advice?

Hello, I sent a request for signature and stamp, but the stamp sometimes:is below the signature (which is not allowed) covers the signature with blank white page

We have a business plus plan which should include unlimited storage but in one specific folder, we are getting hit with this message. We are also unable to upload new files as it is saying “Account Storage Limit Reached.” What is going on? Are there storage limits for specific folders?

I was added as the 3rd user to a business plan but my account is only a personal account.  I tried to upgrade and it said to submit a ticket 

Hello everyone. I am an individual user using the free version. I accidentally overwrote a file and would like to restore it to the version from three days ago, July 22, 2025, using features like Content Recovery. Is it possible to subscribe to a paid plan now and recover the file?

I am attempting to share a file with a client that gives them access to upload and download but NOT edit the document. I do not see a way to figure this out.  Can anyone assist with this issue? Thank you, 

Is there any way to show Collections in Box offline folder?

I have a file where I’m trying to add metadata using a template we have been using in the past.When I try to save the metadata using the UI (when editing the file) I get back the following error:"An error has occurred while updating metadata. Please refresh the page and try again."I’ve tried refreshing the page and repeating the process, but still get the same error.When I happen to look at the Chrome Dev Tool Console window I can see that the Box UI is getting an error response back from an ajax call they posting. The error says:{"message": "Encountered invalid value for template field key=alfrescoCreatedDate with id=eb….","code": "bad_request","request_id": "d…."}This is a hidden field we have had for several years and never ran into any issue trying to save the metadata. It really shouldn’t be trying to do anything with this hidden field.Have any of you run into this? Is there any work around?Support so far

I’m trying to add a Box Note to a Hub but Box is telling me I don’t have permission to add it.I have Editor access to the root folder and folder where this note is stored.What might be the reason? 

Hi there, We’re a registered nonprofit using Box Sign. We’ve recently noticed that the option to request signatures or sign documents ourselves is no longer appearing in our account. Is there a monthly limit to how many documents we can send for signature under the nonprofit plan? helloall of a sudden I cannot open my files anymore, neither the people with the link to may maps and filesI get the message with each of the files that the file may be secured. I nver secured themOr the file keeps pending 

Anyone have step by step instructions on how to send an approval task from the phone? I’ve tried working with my IT team and they can’t figure it out. But I see online that there is a way to do it.
