I am using a free account of Box, which provides me with 10 GB of storage. My account settings show that I have used 1.8 MB of that storage. However, when I try to add a file I get the error in the below screenshot. You can see in bottom right of the background that the file failed to upload because “Account storage limit reached”. How can I solve this issue? It’s severely interfering with a project I’m working on.

Hello,I am unable to upload multiple files/images (the most I’ve managed is 6 the last time I tried). I thought this was due to the bandwidth limit issues, but these should be resetted every month (the bandwidth issue was supposedly due to the ClickUp integration and was since resolved). I’ve tried multiple devices/methods with the same results.Thanks for help.

Description: I am experiencing a persistent login loop with Box Drive on macOS. When attempting to log in, the application redirects to the browser (Chrome) for authentication. After successfully entering credentials and completing 2FA, the browser attempts to "hand off" to the desktop app, but the app fails to register the session and prompts for login again.System Specifications: macOS Version: Tahoe 26.3 Box Drive Version: 2.49.255 Primary Browser: Chrome (up to date) Troubleshooting Already Completed: To save time, please note that I have already attempted the following without success: Browser Cleanup: Cleared all cookies, cache, and site data for box.com and app.box.com in Chrome. Can we invite new people to new folders without sending them automatic notification and email? I'm thinking of making many folders and invite people. It might be annoying to receive automatic notification and email every time people are added to new folders. I'd appreciate if I can know how to add people to new folders without notification and email.

My file storage was 50gb and it appears that it's been reduced to 10gb.  I've made no changes to my account.  Please advise how this can be restored.  

Hello,I am trying to establish a connection from one of our servers to a customers server. I have some scripts to ftps a file to their box.com account. The ports are open in our firewall but the command just hangs.I’m curious if because my account [removed by moderator] is a general / basic account if this feature is disabled or not allowed unless you have a upgrade account? i am using my account and trying to push it to the box.com/doi_talent folder which is owned by another customer and i believe they have a paid account with you guys.I’m getting no errors, just does not work. thank you for your time using curl commands

I would like to be able to use batch-file (a script file) to organize the files in Box Drive folder.  This means I will use standard DOS commands such as COPY, CD, REN to work on the files.  I used to be able to do this in Box-Sync because the folder for Box-Sync is in C: drive.  I can simply use DOS command to operate on “C:\Box Sync” folder.  But this doesn’t work anymore because the new BOX folder is just a link, not really a folder.  Is there any way that we can operate the files in Box Drive using a script such as a batch file to automate the process?Please let me know.  Thanks.

Is the 'Last Login' column under User Details report now replaced with 'Last Credential Entry?'

Hi there,   I am wanting to share a link with an external user without them having to input any credentials to view the link. I have read other posts where people are having the same issues, however I do not have an option to select "people with the link." I only have "people in your company" or "invited people only" which still requires login credentials (see attached). Please let me know how I can share links with ease. Thanks, Isabella  

Just today, my office 365 on Mac updated and now has integration. When I open files from Box drive in finder, it shows others when I am editing the file, and within office it indicates when the file was last saved, etc. However, now when I click on “Save as” to save a file with a different name, it doesn’t remember what folder the file was in, and I have to navigate back to the folder. I save many versions as I edit so this is very inconvenient. If I remove Box as an online location in office, it prompts me to sign in every time I open a file on box drive. If I escape out of the login, I can edit with proper functionality but this pops up with every file. Is there a way to fix the “save as” incorrect location, or to disable any attempt at office from logging into box and giving me the integrated version? 

I am trying to upgrade to a paid account but got the following message. However, there is no place to submit a support ticket. Could someone from box reach out to me about next steps? Is this the normal process for paying for an account?There was an error processing your request.Your account needs further verification, please submit a ticket at support.box.com.

I would like to send a notification to team members when a new item is added to a hub. Box team can this be added as a relay trigger? Does anyone have a work around?

I’ve seen this a few times in the forums - I have an account with an email that I can no longer access what so ever.The box tool reset my password and I have a lot of design work that is no longer accessible. Very important I can recover this.Please provide me someone to talk to so I can get access to my files please. I can show the files on my machine and describe in great detail what they are.

I run this command (numbers changed for amusement)box collaborations:create [removed by moderator] folder --user-id= [removed by moderator] --role=editor --notifyI get this error:user_already_collaborator - User is already a collaborator The user is a collaborator: viewer on the parent-folder 3 levels higher. I want them to be able to edit items in this lower level folder. In the UI, I can do this. In the box:cli, I cannot. The closest I came to working was AI suggesting I create a folder+user group for each folder/user combination and add that as a new collaborator for the lower folder. While this probably would work, I want to do this for hundreds of folders, and I don’t want to pollute my group list.I’ve tried --login instead of --user-id. I have tried --no-notify, and --notify. I have tried --can-see-path. I have tried everything the buggy AIs have suggested, all with no change.

Two things:An update to Box in the last 10 days or so has made downloading far less efficient than the previous setup where I was asked from my desktop what I wanted to do with the completed document. Now I have to go to box to download each file. Why was this done? Is there an option to use the previous setup? Second, my completed documents no longer have _signed at the end of my document names. Now when I download, they have identical names as the original unsigned drafts that I uploaded to Box for processing. Why was this removed?

I am working on a MacBook Air M1, 2020.  I have downloaded Box Drive for Mac before but about a month ago deleted the app as I wasn’t using it and wanted to free up space on my Mac (which there is plenty of storage available).  I now need to use Box for personal and work purposes.  I have a personal account.  I want to download and use Box Drive for Mac to gain easier access to files on my Mac.  I download the software from Box’s website, the installer starts, but gets stuck on the last step (I forge the name of the step) and cancels/states it cannot download the app (no reason is provided).  I do not have any “special” software that prevents me from downloading apps off the internet.  Please let me know why I cannot download this software app and what I need to do to rectify it. 

I have a business plan account and cannot create a support ticket.  I clicked on everything for a long time and I can only reach the support forum.   I tried everything I found on the support forum and still cannot connect to create a support ticket.  If anyone can please assist me. 

First, I know Box does not support Mac aliases or Windows shortcuts, but up until 2.24.x they left those files alone. Users were able to create and use aliases/shortcuts on their local devices. I use Mac aliases to organize groups of files located in a master directory. It's important to my workflow.   Since the last Box Drive update on my Mac OS (Box Drive 2.24.193) my Mac will not open original files using an alias if the original file is in my Box drive. An alias file can be successfully created on my Mac in my Box drive, but the sync process changes something about the file that makes it unusable. Aliases created in a directory outside of my Box drive work fine. The Box sync does something on the Mac to the alias file to make it unusable on the Mac.   Box sup

I have set up unlimited storage for my co-admin on Business Plus account, but when he opens the settings, he faces the limitation of 1 tb. I have manually changed his storage to unlimited, then to 4 tb, but nothing changed, he still sees only 1 tb limitation. What should we do?

I have authenticated the domain via TXT in DNS.  This was done last Wednesday.  I am still unable to add two users who previously registered with Box.com as free accounts.  I get the default message that the user already exists - " Email already used in a Box account but not associated with an enterprise".  When I go to the External Users list - neither External Users nor Unmanaged Users has them listed.  I need to get these two users added asap.  Thanks.

Is it possible to drag and drop individual files from one “File and Folders” block to another “Files and Folders” block on the same page? This seems like basic organizational functionality and I was told previously that this was possible but it...does not seem to be possible unless there’s some step that I’m missing. 

We attempted to provision a new user via our IdP (Okta) and got an error that a user with that email already exists. However, when we go to the Admin Console > Users & Groups > Unmanaged Users, they are not listed, so we can't convert the account.
