Query on Folder Nesting & File formats supported in Box

Hi Box Team
Need clarification on following topics:

  1. What is the maximum folder nesting limit supported in Box GxP
  2. What is the maximum file size that can be uploaded at a time by a user account
  3. Which file formats are currently supported in Box GxP? Specifically, can you confirm whether the following formats are supported:
    DOCX, XLSX, PUB, PPTX, ACCDB/E, VSDX, Power BI extensions, PNG, TIF, HEIC, AI, GIF, JPG, PDS, BMP, SVG, WEBP, AVIF, CI/CD, CSV, GIT, JSON, PDF/A, TXT, PDF, RTF, XML, XPT

    1. I believe it’s maximum of 1,000 folder levels, but, practically speaking, don’t go more than 50 deep.

    These are general Box responses.  I don’t know that there’s anything specifically about GxP that would change any of these answers.

    Are there any restrictions on uploading specialized file types such as Power BI extensions, AI, HEIC, AVIF, GIT files, or XPT files in Box GxP?

    You can literally upload >any< content to Box.  The question is really around what Box can do with it from there.  The links in #3, above, refer specifically to what file types can be displayed in Box Preview.

    If you’re using Box Platform (custom apps accessing Box instead of the Box web UI), then you can incorporate any viewer you want to support additional formats.  We have customers using IBM DaejaView, Apryse, Snowbound and others.
