Hi, I just logged into my Box account after a few months of not using it and noticed that all my folders and documents are missing. I did not delete them, and they are not in the trash. My account shows as empty with zero storage used.Could you please advise how I can recover these documents, and who I should contact for help? I really need to get these files back. Is there a way to make a sharable link that permits anyone with the link to upload a file, but not to view other files that have been uploaded? It looks like you can assign those permissions when sharing with individual people, but not when generating a link to share out with many.

I am trying to create a file, to which I can share a link with 80+ external users to easily allow them to upload their company’s logo.I’ve tried various setting in creating the link, but can’t seam to get it right. No one has been successful in uploading any of their logo’s.What is the right way to do this?

I just completed the Salesforce integration with Box. However, we have many existing client folders that I would like to repurpose as Accounts folders. Is there a way to create the Account association by creating the folder metadata in Salesforce using existing folder IDs in Box. I understand I would need to add the folder Id and account record ID in the meta but am not sure how to see that data in the older box files. Or, if there is a better way to migrate the data, open to all suggestions. Thanks in advance!
For some reason I can’t access my University’s BOX account and when I try to reset the password it says the reset link was sent to an email that doesn’t exist. The university told me I need to talk to BOX. Please help.
No “new” key to upload
I had a client that asked/required a 2 step verification for a job. The job is done. But I still have to use the 2 step verification sometimes even when I am not dealing with the old client folder etc. The 2 step ver. is a royal pain, how do I remove it? Many Thanks in advance.
I am using a free account of Box, which provides me with 10 GB of storage. My account settings show that I have used 1.8 MB of that storage. However, when I try to add a file I get the error in the below screenshot. You can see in bottom right of the background that the file failed to upload because “Account storage limit reached”. How can I solve this issue? It’s severely interfering with a project I’m working on.

Hello,I am unable to upload multiple files/images (the most I’ve managed is 6 the last time I tried). I thought this was due to the bandwidth limit issues, but these should be resetted every month (the bandwidth issue was supposedly due to the ClickUp integration and was since resolved). I’ve tried multiple devices/methods with the same results.Thanks for help.
Description: I am experiencing a persistent login loop with Box Drive on macOS. When attempting to log in, the application redirects to the browser (Chrome) for authentication. After successfully entering credentials and completing 2FA, the browser attempts to "hand off" to the desktop app, but the app fails to register the session and prompts for login again.System Specifications: macOS Version: Tahoe 26.3 Box Drive Version: 2.49.255 Primary Browser: Chrome (up to date) Troubleshooting Already Completed: To save time, please note that I have already attempted the following without success: Browser Cleanup: Cleared all cookies, cache, and site data for box.com and app.box.com in Chrome. Default Browser Swap: Switched the system default browser to Safari to rule out Chrome extension interference. Can we invite new people to new folders without sending them automatic notification and email? I'm thinking of making many folders and invite people. It might be annoying to receive automatic notification and email every time people are added to new folders. I'd appreciate if I can know how to add people to new folders without notification and email.
My file storage was 50gb and it appears that it's been reduced to 10gb. I've made no changes to my account. Please advise how this can be restored.
Hello,I am trying to establish a connection from one of our servers to a customers server. I have some scripts to ftps a file to their box.com account. The ports are open in our firewall but the command just hangs.I’m curious if because my account [removed by moderator] is a general / basic account if this feature is disabled or not allowed unless you have a upgrade account? i am using my account and trying to push it to the box.com/doi_talent folder which is owned by another customer and i believe they have a paid account with you guys.I’m getting no errors, just does not work. thank you for your time using curl commands
I would like to be able to use batch-file (a script file) to organize the files in Box Drive folder. This means I will use standard DOS commands such as COPY, CD, REN to work on the files. I used to be able to do this in Box-Sync because the folder for Box-Sync is in C: drive. I can simply use DOS command to operate on “C:\Box Sync” folder. But this doesn’t work anymore because the new BOX folder is just a link, not really a folder. Is there any way that we can operate the files in Box Drive using a script such as a batch file to automate the process?Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi there, I am wanting to share a link with an external user without them having to input any credentials to view the link. I have read other posts where people are having the same issues, however I do not have an option to select "people with the link." I only have "people in your company" or "invited people only" which still requires login credentials (see attached). Please let me know how I can share links with ease. Thanks, Isabella
Just today, my office 365 on Mac updated and now has integration. When I open files from Box drive in finder, it shows others when I am editing the file, and within office it indicates when the file was last saved, etc. However, now when I click on “Save as” to save a file with a different name, it doesn’t remember what folder the file was in, and I have to navigate back to the folder. I save many versions as I edit so this is very inconvenient. If I remove Box as an online location in office, it prompts me to sign in every time I open a file on box drive. If I escape out of the login, I can edit with proper functionality but this pops up with every file. Is there a way to fix the “save as” incorrect location, or to disable any attempt at office from logging into box and giving me the integrated version?

I would like to send a notification to team members when a new item is added to a hub. Box team can this be added as a relay trigger? Does anyone have a work around?
I’ve seen this a few times in the forums - I have an account with an email that I can no longer access what so ever.The box tool reset my password and I have a lot of design work that is no longer accessible. Very important I can recover this.Please provide me someone to talk to so I can get access to my files please. I can show the files on my machine and describe in great detail what they are.
