Hi. I have tried two different credit cards and they both give the error "error processing request". Can someone please assist as I have Box invoices overdue but can't find a way to pay them.

Hi, If we use Box Enterprise accounts then the data is stored within a FedRAMP Moderate authorized environment? Or do we need to request this through support? According to the Box site the normal Enterprise is FedRAMP moderate authorized. I have not been able to confirm this in the admin section of our Enterprise account.  Does somebody know this?  Thanks!

I am getting this access issue when I try to access the Box videos for my school.  

I tried to install Box Drive on a 2015 MacBook Pro running on an Intel i7 with MacOS Monterey 12.7.6.  The installation failed (see attached screenshot). It’s not clear to me whether or not Monterey is supported and, additionally, there is a requirement that “Box Sync is not installed”.  I cannot find any guidance on how to uninstall Box Sync.  

I recently received an update notification through Box Drive. I installed the update, but now when trying to open the app, I get a "Box Drive has encountered an issue" popup box. The popup states "You installed an older version of Box Drive on top of a newer version." Please install the latest version of Box Drive. If the problem persists, please contact Box Support to further troubleshoot the issue." And then forces me to quit the app. I need guidance on fixing this problem asap.

We have an older Synology NAS connected to a BOX account. We are trying to use the same BOX account to connect on the newer Synology NAS. The connection keeps timing out when trying to connect to BOX service through Cloud Sync.Does BOX account only allow one connection through CloudSync? 

Will Box Drive support Adobe Bridge before you retire Box Sync? This is the main program we use to access and organize the images we are storing, so unless Box Drive works with it, we can’t make the switch.

Hi, After switching from "old" Box Sync super simple and efficient app to Box Drive, indexing of Box folder is not possible in Windows 10. I found very inconvenient to use new searching method which requires to EVERY time to open "Search in this folder" from folder context menu in order to search. You can imagine how is that frustrating for someone who because of nature of work has to do search in that way hundred times per day, and who done that in past just using typing and let windows indexing to do the work and fast retrieve files. Can you provide some workaround for this, and if not can you tell me do you plan to fix that in product roadmap? Tnx, Ivan 

I have an external user that I want to bring over to a managed user. I click “Convert to Managed User” and then a window pops up to notify the user that they are being converted.  When I click send it a notice pops up saying unable user unable to be invited to join the enterprise. How do I get round this?Thanks

Hi, when I'm in the morning trying to open an Office-file, after I have logged into Box on Chrome/Windows 10, it already needed daily reinstall, because I'm emptying my browser-cache automatically on a daily basis as I sometimes need to visit several hundred websites per day. So no option to not empty the browser cache. It was tedious enough up to now to reinstall Box-tools always in the morning. Since two days this task has become even more cumbersome as Box tools cannot be installed anymore. It always exits with some error description, stating that the Box version already installed is newer than the one just downloaded. The only thing that helps is going to Windows app removal and de-install Box tools and then reinstall it. I'm feeling quite tired by now about this Box tool behavior. When will this be corrected? Can't the Box tools be installed somewhere else than in the browser cache area? This is not practical at all, Box is supposed to save time, not cost me daily 5 min more.

Hi,We recently created a sandbox environment to perform some tests.  I’m not able to see the Classification tab in the sandbox - even though we have this setup in our Prod environment.  Looks like we need to enable Box Shield but I don’t see the option to do this in the sandbox either. Anyone with knowledge on how to get Classification setup in sandbox for testing? Thanks!

I got this account a long time ago for some organization I was working with. Apparently my account is associated with an organization somehow. As I don’t use this service any more, I just want to remove my account. When doing so from the admin panel, I just get an error: “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again.”.Can you please, please, please just remove my account and all data associated with it?

Hello Box Support Team,I am currently configuring SAML SSO for Box using Azure AD as the Identity Provider, but the setup seems to be stuck and I’m unable to proceed.Issue description I started the SSO (SAML) configuration around 6:00 PM yesterday (JST). Since then, the Box Admin Console has continuously shown the status:“Awaiting file connection” Under SSO Certificates, it still shows “0 of 2 in use”. What I have tried I have attempted to upload the SSO certificate multiple times from the Admin UI. The upload appears to complete, but the certificate is not recognized in the UI, and the count remains 0/2. I have reviewed several Box and Azure SAML setup articles and documentation, but none addressed this specific behavior. Questions / requests Is there any known issue or common cause where uploaded SAML certificates are not reflected in the Box Admin Console? Hello Box Support Team,We are experiencing an issue with the Box Desktop application on macOS.The “Copy Shared Link” function does not work properly.When we select Copy → Open Link, it opens a page showing an error message such as “This file has been deleted” or similar, even though the file still exists and is accessible from the Box web interface.This issue is occurring for multiple users within our organization, not just a single account.The affected users are using different operating systems, but the same problem is reproducible.Please note that our application language is Japanese, so the exact menu or feature names may differ slightly from the English UI.Could you please advise on the cause of this issue or any possible workaround?Thank you for your support. Reported at December 12, 2025, 11:20 JST.

We are currently using box via another software (Blueleaf). Blueleaf is the owner of all of our folders. We’re the editors on all the folders. We are moving away from Blueleaf and would like to upgrade our plan. I tried going through and upgrading the plan outside of the Blueleaf account but I wasn’t able to because my email address is already in use. If we upgrade while logged in, it will keep Blueleaf as the owners on the files. Ideally, we’d like to have our own account so that we can move the folders over. How do we go about doing so?

Is there a way of adding the folder description to all the files inside. Or is there a way of selecting ALL files in a folder to have the same description. I need all my files to have the same description, however I have 100’s.It is taking a long time to copy, paste then click next as they are all large images. Thank you

Is it possible in Box Admin to locate which users have box sync running as I know its going to be EOL in a year.

Anyone know why Adobe Bridge and Finder would be populating an older version on my Box content? I see a folder online (signed into a web browser) but don’t see it when I drag and drop the Box info into Bridge from Finder. Called Adobe support. They said an Apple permissions thing. Called Apple and they say call Box. And Box has no support options. I’ve tried force quiting all apps and a hard reboot. Any insights appreciated. 

I created a business account with 13 users and the unlimited storage. I went to add the csv contact list for my slots of users and the only one that got added was the none existing box user. and then one of the users became a collaborator. How do I go about adding all of these pre existing accounts under me with all of there folders and content they already have access to?

Please can anyone tell me what is the meaning of this “There was an error processing your request.Your account needs further verification, please submit a ticket at support.box.com.” What can I do to go further?

I need my MFA reset for my account--not this one (I had to create this one to access support), but for my other account. I cannot log in due to not having my MFA device anymore.
