Box Drive/Box Sync

I tried to install Box Drive on a 2015 MacBook Pro running on an Intel i7 with MacOS Monterey 12.7.6.  The installation failed (see attached screenshot). It’s not clear to me whether or not Monterey is supported and, additionally, there is a requirement that “Box Sync is not installed”.  I cannot find any guidance on how to uninstall Box Sync.

Welcome to Box Community, and we will assist regarding your error installing Box Drive. 

As of September 2024, we've already ended the support for Box Drive, Box Sync, and Box Tools on macOS 12. In order to utilize Box Drive, please upgrade to macOS13 or later versions.

When you launch Box Drive and log in for the first time, it should automatically prompt you to uninstall Box Sync?
