I have the same problem and have tried to use the box drive app on two separate computers with the same results for at least a year. Not only do I have to uninstall and reinstall, just to get it to work, I have to do it every single time I want to use it.    I also do not get to see (when it actually works) the updating status of my files… Both computers have Windows 11 and MS365.  For the record, Box Sync is much better (at the user end by my experience) so it will be a big loss when you stop having it.  For now, I will be reverting back to Sync as I find the drive app to be seriously lacking.  Let me know when you have a fix please.
