Hello, I want to create user invite via .NET SDK. I’m using boxClient.Invites.CreateInviteAsync method. I created another (personal) account on box.com and I’m trying to invite it to my enterpise. But I’m getting an exception with details: {"type":"error","status":400,"code":"bad_request","context_info":{"errors":[{"reason":"invalid_parameter","name":"login","message":"Invalid value <personal information-redacted>."}]},"help_url":"http:\/\/developers.box.com\/docs\/#errors","message":"Bad Request","request_id":"suqbwuhwiea7aeue"}   Am I missing something?

I'm trying to add an internal user within my organization to a 'parent' folder so that they can access both this folder, and all subfolders within this folder. When I invite them, I get a notification that they were successfully invited. However, they are still not able to access the parent folder (or sub folders). It will be very time consuming to have to manually add them to every single sub folder, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I am no longer going to be able to use the email address I started my unpaid Box account with. I initially couldn't figure out how to transfer ownership of my files to my new email address. So I created a new Box account with my new email address, but then later realized I could have just added my new email address to my existing account and made it the default email address. However, when I tried to do that, it said I cannot because there is already a Box account associated with my new email address. SO, I cancelled the Box account associated with my new email address. Then came back to my original acount and tried to add my new email address to it by selecting "link personal email" in my account settings. However, it keeps giving me an error message telling me "Oops - that person already has a Box account." Except I have cancelled that Box account... Why am I receiving this error message when I no longer have a separate Box account under that new email address? I just need a q

A user has forgotten their password and is unable to access their Box account.I sent them a link to reset the password, but the system did not allow me to proceed without first completing the two-step verification process, which was unsuccessful.The Box requires a significant amount of data in order to perform its functions effectively.Our company is called Playheart and we are currently using the Enterprise package.Ms. Bao-Yen An is the individual in question.The email address in question is <personal information-redacted>The last occasion on which the account was accessed successfully was on 29 November 2024.The account was created on 1 October 2020.Please verify this information.

Hello - I keep Excel files open throughout the day as I need to add or delete things within the sheets. When I hit save I see the file saved box. But a few days later I'll open the Excel doc and use the Excel option and I don't see the file saved box.

When displaying the attached image to users, I would like them to enter their Box-registered email address and password every time. How should I implement this? Note: I notice the original message mentions an attached image, but I don't see one in our conversation. If you'd like specific guidance related to the image, please feel free to share it.  

Hello, I signed up via Google SSO and when I try to change my password (I currently have no password) to access a file that requires a strong password, I repeatedly get an error message. This occurs on both Safari and Chrome. I am unable to set up my password. Please help. Thank you.

I am going to be closing down the domain I used when I first created my Box account, and need to edit the email address associated with that domain which I used when setting up my Box admin account.  I understand that I need to add a new email address and then make it the default, but Box won't let me add the new address and tells me it is unvalidated.  How do I validate it?

I am having a nightmare trying to figure this out, or directly contact box for any help. The manage user page says "error, please try again later" when the account was opened over a week ago now and should be experiencing no technical glitches.

Hi    We are considering moving from Dropbox to Box.com but we have an archive of 320 GB we would need to upload to bring with us. Is there a way this can be done are we expected to upload hundreds of files individually to stay within the 5 GB upload limit.  In general, each of our files is 3-4GB so this is a one-off requirement.  Please advise if this can be done in some efficient way in one transfer / initial upload?

Hello Two employees have been laid off from the company.  One was a co-admin and the other was the primary admin.  I can not find a way to remove both of them.  I am the VP of Operations and Accounting and need to make sure they can no longer access this files. Please help.

When using the Box Drive (v2.42.212) on MacOS (v15.2), I am unable to make any changes to files/folders. I can't copy files to folders from my local desktop, or from other Box folders. I am unable to rename or open files in Box. I've had Box installed for months and only just started having this issue suddenly. If I modify files/folders through the web interface it works fine so it doesn't appear to be a permissions issue. I have attempted restarting my computer, uninstalling Box Drive and all associated Library files to no avail.

I have reviewed the Box pricing comparison table, but I need clarification, so I am reaching out for support.   I believe the Business Plan might be appropriate, but could you confirm whether this is the correct choice? Below are our requirements: • Corporate contract • Annual payment • 300 users • Integration with Salesforce only • No need for external collaborators • 5GB file upload size is sufficient   Please advise on whether the Business Plan meets our needs or if another plan would be more suitable.   Thank you.

I am an enterprise customer and am getting and 10GB cap on storage when I should be unlimited. Phone support was absolutely useless and the contact support link takes me here.  Really regretting signing up. 

I upgraded my account last night to unlimited storage and am still getting an error when I try to load files.  There is NO way to reach a support ticket or human at box to get help so I am going to either have to contest the charge on the CC OR receive a response from Box ASAP.  Please helpASAP. This is the message:

Cannot drag and drop files into box.  I was able to previously but no nothing happens

I tried the suggested instructions in the forum but I cannot link another email that I then can make the primary email. I am getting the error below:How can I proceed.  Where do I find my support representative contact info?

I can't log in to my account in the BOX app. I click the Login button and a browser opens where I enter my email. Then the application opens again, but I can't log in.

Hi all, I have Box set up through rclone and just suddenly it stopped working with the message "redirect_uri_mismatch".  I tried deleting the Box remote in rclone and setting it up again.  No luck.  Box Support has directed me here and I'm hoping someone might be able to help?  Screenshot of the issue is attached...  Thanking kind people :)
