Free Personal Account upgraded to Starter Account

I had a free Personal Account with 4 collaborators and no issues.  I upgraded to the Starter Account and now I get a message that ‘You have used 5 of 3 seats, please add more seats.’    Can I no longer add collaborators without cost?   If not, I’d rather switch back to the personal account.

    Welcome to Box Community, and we’re glad to assist! 

     

    Your upgrade to Business Starter plan does not include unlimited external collaboration. Every time you invite a collaborator to your own folder, it will charge you with additional seat. 

     

    If you want to prevent additional charges for sharing your Box contents, create an open shared link. 

    Creating a link to share:

    1. In your Box files view, hover your cursor over the row of the file or folder you wish to share.

    2. On the right, click (Create and) Copy Shared Link (Shared_link_icon.png). 

      The Shared Link window opens.  The link automatically copies to your clipboard.

    That's it.  You can now paste that link into the app of your choice -- email, messaging, and so on -- to share your content. For more, details in creating a shared link please see this article.
