How do you regain access to a file link sent to you that has expired?

If your confirmation email link has expired. Please proceed and reset your password using the steps below. 

1. Visit https://app.box.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your Box account.
2. Check your email, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

• • Password reset links sent via email expire 3 hours after they are sent. If you need a new link after your current one has expired, visit https://app.box.com/reset to have another link emailed to you.
  • If you do not receive an email from Box for this password reset, check to see if your Box account is associated with that specific email address or another email address.
  • Also, check your spam folder in your email client for this email.

the link to confirm my mail adress is expired and i need it to activate my account. Can you plz send me a new link 

How do I get access to an expired link that has been sent by another person to me? I can't tell him to resent the files due to some issues. Can you help?

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll help complete account Box setup. 

Since you activation link has expired, what you can do next is to reset your password. Doing so will generate a new link that’ll allow you to setup the password for your account. 

To reset the password for your Box account, follow this process:

1. Visit https://app.box.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your Box account.
2. Check your email, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

• Password reset links sent via email expire 3 hours after they are sent. If you need a new link after your current one has expired, visit https://app.box.com/reset to have another link emailed to you.
• If you do not receive an email from Box for this password reset, check to see if your Box account is associated with that specific email address or another email address.
• Also, check your spam folder in your email client for this email.

Request to Resend Account Verification Email

For expired or non-working verification link, please generate a password reset link to setup your password and complete your account setup.

A confirmation link can only be sent once but no worries, you can still generate a new link. 

To reset the password for your Box account, follow this process:

1. Visit https://app.box.com/reset and enter the email address associated with your Box account.

Using this procedure you’d get to complete your account set up.

I need the verification email resent. I clicked the link the second the email came thru and it stated it was already expired.  

I was sent a validation link email but with no link to verify my email.
