Unable to edit or delete files/folders -- even with Editor access

My company has an Enterprise license for Box. I have “Editor” access to our shared enterprise Box folder. Yet, I cannot seem to edit nor delete any file or folder, even ones that I create. However, I am able to create new files and folders. What could be the issue? 

Here is a screenshot of my permissions as indicated by our Admin:

Welcome to Box Community, and we’re glad to assist regarding your folder permission. 

 

In deleting shared folders,  editors can delete sub-folders, but not root folders. Only owners can delete folders at the root level. If you’re deleting a root folder, please reach out to the owner instead. 

Meanwhile, in regard to editing files do you get an error message? If you do, please attach a screenshot here for us to get a closer look.
