Invite As Editor does not give upload options

When I select Invite As Editor, I can not figure out how to choose any of the following settings as they are grayed out:

  1. Viewer Uploader
  2. Peviewer Uploader
  3. Uploader Only

I am the owner of the box account.  

Please advise. I already emailed 40+ people with a link to upload, and I have heard that they do not have upload permissions. What is the trick to enabling it? Thank you.

    The reason those options are grayed out is likely because you are attempting to change permissions for Folders that already have a higher-level "Editor" role assigned, or your organization's admin settings have restricted specific collaborator roles. In Box, the Editor role automatically includes upload permissions; however, if your invitees are reporting they can't upload, the "link" you sent might be a Shared Link set to "People in your company" or "Invited people only" rather than a formal Collaborator Invitation voyafinancial com

    To fix this, ensure you are adding them via the "Invite Collaborators" section rather than just sending a URL. If you need them to only upload without seeing other files, you should use the File Request feature instead, which creates a dedicated upload widget that bypasses complex permission settings entirely.
