Folders not loading

I have been trying to login to box to upload my job but it will not load.  It is a blank screen.  Have tried restarting computer, different browsers and nothing is working.  Is this a main site outage?

Not sure what the issue is but chiming in to say I’m experiencing the same thing! Beyond my main Files page it’s just blank.

My collaborators log in and they see the shared folder, but then everything disappears. Any help would be appreciated.


Can’t preview or see files. How do I fix this? Box reports everything OK, I beg to differ.

Yes I have also been trying to login to box to upload my job but it will not load. It is a blank screen.  Have tried restarting computer, different browsers, different internet connection types, different devices and nothing is working. Please keep us updated.

I get a blank screen when trying to access my files.  The web link comes up but the page is blank.  This is new.  I have tried clearing my cache and using a different web browser.  I would like a phone call or chat as I need to access files asap.

I am having the same issue. My coworkers who use a Mac are able to view files via Safari - not an option as a PC user. I’ve tried different browsers with no luck.

I am having the same problem. I can log in and see all my folders, but when I click on one, it does not load and the screen is blank. This is happening for any folder or file I try to open.

Same problem as above. I cleared my cache, tried different browser, updated and restarted computer.


Root folder loads but every folder only shows a blank screen. Other users on same machine do not have same issue. I have this issue an any work computer. I tried clearing cache, restarting, relogging.  It worked for years, and even worked a few hours ago. I am responsible for delivering presentation files first thing tomorrow morning, but Box is completely unusable to me currently. I can return to root folder and it reappears when i reload the page, but content folders only show a blank white page.

Files in box are not loading and are a blank screen.  I have cleared cache and logged out and in and still not loading has been going on for a couple hours.

All my co-workers are having the same problem. We click on a folder on a browser and it redirects to a blank white screen.

 

We already updated our browsers and tried it on different  browsers too. Its the same thing on Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. 


I see a lot of people posting on here about their box files are not working properly. Exactly how does one contact box and raise an issue.? I’m just a simple user and I really don’t see an actual way to contact them directly and complain.

I’m consistently getting a white screen when opening shared folders (across multiple clients, devices, and browsers).

Key details:

  • Files open via “Recents” but folders do not

  • Happens across multiple unrelated shared folders

  • I found a temporary workaround where opening a shared folder link “primes” the folder, but switching folders breaks it again

I troubleshot issue with AI and was assured this is a bug on Box’s end. Please help.

Same problem!


I am experiencing the exact same issue. I’m using a Mac, and while all my folders are displayed, the screen goes completely white whenever I try to open one. I managed to open them through the iPhone app, but I still can't perform any actions, such as deleting files. This is very frustrating—does anyone know of a solution?

Hi,

We are experiencing an issue where shared folders cannot be opened.

The page loads as a completely blank white screen.
This issue occurs across all devices (desktop, mobile), browsers, and networks.

We have already tried:
- Different computers


- Different browsers
- Mobile devices (4G/5G)
- Clearing cache

The issue persists consistently.

It seems like a potential issue with shared folder access or Box service in our region.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any known issues or fixes?
