On December 1, 2025, an update to the Box Terms of Service ("Terms") will take affect for those users whose accounts are subject to the Terms and not a separate written agreement, such as the Box Service Agreement. None of these changes affect the pricing for your subscription to the Box Service. The Terms reflect the commitments Box and its users make to each other. The updates include terms which will enable regional compliance with the EU Data Act. By continuing to use the Box service, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to our updated Terms of Service which you may view here.

The Box Apps embedded experience is a HTML-based framework that allows embedding the entire Box App experience in a custom-made application.To embed Box Apps in third party and custom applications, as well as web portals, websites and more, users simply need to select the embed widget link generation tool available from the Box Apps ellipsis menu.With this new integration capability, organizations can:Easily create an embed code (iframe HTML tag) for the Box App they wish to embed. Users can configure notifications to alert other users any time an item is added, removed, or changed within a metadata view in Box AppsIn April 2025, we introduced enhanced email notifications in Box Apps,  automatically alerting end users when an App is shared with other users. We are excited to share some additional notification capabilities Box Apps to keep users and admins informed throughout their business processes and enhance communication between Box Apps and end-users.
