Hello,I am trying to build a Power Automate flow that does the following:When an email arrives with attachments, Create a new folder in Box using the email subject as the folder name, Upload all attachments from the email into that newly created folder.However, when the flow runs, the "Create File" or "Create Folder" action fails with the following error:Only admins can create folders in the root due to enterprise security settingsclientRequestId: 53ecd43c-8126-495e-be9e-b2d50d1121fcHere is what I have tried so far:Specified a subfolder instead of the root folder (using both folder path and folder ID). Re-authenticated the Box connection in Power Automate. Confirmed that my Box account has full permissions (Editor) on the target folder. Verified that I can create folders and upload files directly in the Box web interface

I received a file of drawings from a colleague of mine and to open them i was asked to enter my bank details for a 14 day free trial. Upon entering my details i was still unable to access my desired drawings due to an error in the app, hence leading to me believing the free trial did not work and did not start. I have not used the box app or entered it once since the incident and i have now been charged £500 for a subscription i did not know i had signed up for due to your app being faulty. I have spoken to my bank and the transaction is still pending meaning with your authorisation the transaction can be cancelled. Please help me and provide this authorisation. This is said message from my bank : I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience Vitalie,I can confirm that the transaction in question is currently pending (a pending transaction is a payment that has been authorised but is still waiting for the merchant's confirmation or reversal) and the merchant has until 21 Oct 2025

I am getting a processing error when trying to open an account to access a file that a customer shared with me.     

MacOSIs it possible to see a list of all my currently synced folders and their status in a single place? I am working with a database that encompasses several tens of terabytes of data organised into a few thousand folders/sub directories on multiple levels. It is not practical to sync/unsync them one by one.

Hi, one of my client cannot receive BOX Signs or notifications from us because his email bounces. It is a valid email though. I see that others here asked to be removed from a bounce list? I dont want to share his email in this open forum, so I'd be thankful for someone from support to contact me. Thanks in advance. Claudia

I'm trying to install Box Drive in a Dell XPS laptop with Intel Ultra 7.  installation keeps failing with below error: Box drive is a new install and haven't been installed before​​​​​. Box installation log:[2025-10-14 11:42:15,857] [14   ] [INFO ] [] - Checking for upgrade[2025-10-14 11:42:15,859] [14   ] [INFO ] [] - .NET Version - installed 533320, expected: 528040[2025-10-14 11:42:15,861] [14   ] [INFO ] [] - result: True 

Despite having my 2FA setting set to email, I am not receiving  the 2FA code when I try to log in (I have checked my spam). My administrator can waive my 2FA requirement (which is how I logged in just now), but we cannot keep the setting that way, as it is against government regulations. Please set me up with someone in support to help me fix this so that I get 2FA codes sent to my email.

I have an employee who can no longer log into Box.  No one seems to know who to contact to fix her account.   Any advice?

5年くらい前に、会社のメールアドレスを使って、フリーアカウント登録をしました。ですが、自社でもBOX運用が始まり、会社のメールアドレスで自社は管理を行います。 フリーアカウントに自社のメールアドレスで登録しているせいで、自社BOXで登録ができません。そのため、現在フリーアカウントに登録している会社のメールアドレスを、個人のメールアドレスに変更したいので、その方法を教えてください。 なお、管理画面（アカウント）では、"メールアドレスの追加"やプライマリの変更などのリンクは無く、リンクメールアドレスを追加した状態となります。ただし、確認メールが３０分経過しても送られてこないので、リンクメールが正常に動いているかも怪しい状態です。 このような環境ですが、解決方法をご教示いただけますでしょうか

Box drive does not load into windows explorer. the box drive app going round in circles when i login and then 2nd time it asks me to login it takes me to the web version. Box drive was working a few weeks back so not sure what changed. have tried reinstalling but no luck and only way i can get to the box is through a web browser, rather than integrated into my explorer 

How can I remove Admin role from someone and re-assign to another "member"?  Thanks!

I used to be able to grab some files in Mac Finder, and hover over Box in the sidebar to open the Box folder and drop them in. Has that functionality gone away? It doesn’t seem to work any more.

Hello!I am no longer able to see the shared folders that were previously visible in my Box account. These folders were shared with me by other users, but they have recently disappeared from my view.I have already tried logging out and back in, clearing my browser cache, and checking from a different device, but the issue persists.Could you please help restore access to my shared folders or let me know if there have been any permission or sharing changes on my account?Thank you in advance for your help.

I have been working in Box for years, and all the sudden, when I click on any of my Box folders, I get the error "Oops! We can't seem to find the page you're looking for."  In addition, the documents in my Box folder on Windows are giving me an error when I attempt to open them - I assume because they can't locate the files based on the issue with Box online.  How can I solve this issue??

Asking on behalf of a colleague who’s unable to login because they no longer have access to their MFA codes. They received the message below when trying to contact Box support via email. Any assistance would be appreciated.  

I'm asking about my boss's account, not mine.My boss is having trouble logging in to his account. When he logs in, the page appears to be displayed, but folders that should be there are not. He is also unable to navigate to the account settings page.The same issue occurs when he logs in on a different device or browser.This issue has been occurring since last week; he had been able to use the service without any issues until then.My boss can't even log in to the community from his account, so I'm asking for your advice using my account.I'd like to inquire about whether there are any issues with his account, so I'd like to know the contact information for the Box administrator.

Hi everyone,I’m having trouble accessing my Box files from the web. Whenever I try to preview or download any document, it just keeps loading or gives an error saying “Something went wrong, please try again later.”I already cleared my browser cache, tried different browsers (Chrome, Edge), and even checked my internet connection — but the issue is still there. Interestingly, the mobile app works fine, so it seems to be only a web issue.Is anyone else facing this problem recently? Could it be related to a new update or something on Box’s end?Would really appreciate any suggestions or fixes.Thanks!

Hello,I noticed today that I was over my storage limit. I use Box Storage for business documents so I upgraded to the business planHowever, when I upgraded, all of my files and folders have disappeared. I shared a couple of folders yesterday and all gone. It looks like the only files I have now are ones that have been shared with me. Does anyone know how long it takes for the files to return is there a contact I can email or talk to if this issue persists?

I got the message "The link to this shared file or folder has been deleted or is no longer available." Could anyone tell me what to do?

I have been using google sheets to edit my spreadsheets all along, including this morning, and now I only have access to Excel online.I have shared this spreadsheets with panelists and they are unable to open their sheets in google sheets as well.What can I do??
