Hi, I will be making files available to clients for download. I will also be making a folder available to each client to upload into. Since I usually won't know if my clients have a Box account, I will probably use the "Shared Link" feature, which is different from inviting someone as a collaborator, just in case they don't have an account. I tested this with multiple accounts, and it works well. I would prefer to add each client as a Viewer on the download folder and an Uploader on the upload folder in addition though. This is because if they *do* have a Box account, it will allow them better control and integration - for example, the shared folders will show up in their folder structure when they are logged in. The problem is that for those clients who *don't* have a box account, adding them as collaborators will ask them to open a Box account. I don't want to require this for them, and I don't want to confuse them. I know that for clients without a Box account, it would be better t

Hello, I wanted to change from SMS 2FA to an authenticator app, and had to first remove my SMS 2FA to be able to do so. Then, two problems arose: - When trying to activate the 2FA with an app, it will keep 'generating' the QR code, but never show one, so I cannot add it (I tried Edge and Firefox on Windows 11, I also tried Safari on iPadOS 17.6) - When trying to activate the 2FA with sms (like I had before) it keeps saying that my phone number is not valid, whereas I am sure it is correct (I tried with / without country code, etc) The result is that I now cannot configure 2FA. Can you please fix this asap?
Box is requiring a stronger password to access a folder, but since I log in with Google, I don't have one, or I don't know what it is. I tried to reset my password and as soon as I type in my email, it just logs me into my account automatically and takes me to my home page without letting me reset or change the password. Need to access this file ASAP. Please help!
My friend lost access to the duo-factor authenticator he was using for the account, so now he wouldn't be able to verify and log back in. There's also no way for him to create a ticket because he doesn't have access to the account.
Unfortunately, this means you will have to manually upgrade to a newer release once this issue is resolved. Please report this issue to the Box User Services team.
I'm trying to add a user but get an error message stating "Email already used in a Box account but not associated with an enterprise." I had that user change their email by adding a new one to their account and removing the one on our company domain -still get the same error. Please help
