I have an old paid box account I would like to recover if possible - it uses an email account that I currently use with a free account. Is this possible if the account was deleted more than 2+ years ago?

Box Support can help recover a deleted user up to 1 year with request by an admin/co-admin on the account.
Also, it sounds like your email from the previous Box account was released to be used for your Free account, which can mean the old account is no longer recoverable.
