Unable to edit excels online

Hi,

 I am using box in a class and am meant to edit the excel sheets provided, but the option to open and edit in excel online is not present. the only option is to edit with google sheets and the window closes out whenever I try to this option. I even had my teacher change my permissions to editor and checked that the excel online option was added to my box profile. Ive attempted on multiple browsers and tried clearing my browsing data. Nothing seems to work. Any help that could be provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check if the folder has “Hide collaborators” enabled—this can block the Excel Online option. Also, confirm that Box for Office Online integration is fully enabled on your account. catmeowing

In order to edit your excel file through the Box website, please make sure you’ve added the Box for Office online integration in your account.

In addition to this, you can customize which integrated application will open by default when you click the 'Open' button on the file preview page. To do so, login to Box.com> click your profile at the top right and select Account Settings> Integrations tab.

Thank you for the feedback. For some reason my Microsoft Office Online option is grayed out an unable to be selected. Do you happen to know what could be causing this?

I test it on my Account Settings and it shows that the Box for Office for Web in Account Settings> Integrations should be enabled/added. Could you do the same in your end?
