I have an application that consistently makes requests to the Box Enterprise Events API to get and monitor events for a customer. The requests occur every 10 minutes, and every request extracts the next_stream_position cursor and uses it as the stream_position parameter for the subsequent request. The purpose here being that we can retrieve events in 10 minute intervals. One thing that I noticed was that the Box Enterprise Events API is unreliable in the way we are using it, as we have seen a number of events missed/not returned by the API. We were able to confirm this by doing the following: - Look at all of the events our request cycle retrieved that have a timestamp dated yesterday (say Monday) - Start a secondary API request cycle, using yesterday's date (Monday) as the starting point - Compare the events retrieved by the secondary cycle that have a timestamp of Monday to the events from the primary cycle - The results were that the secondary cycle retrieved events (dated for Monda

I've switched to a new phone and lost access to my Google Authenticator app, which was set up for Box MFA. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the previous phone or the authenticator codes. Given that my username is different, I'm wondering if there's an alternative way to verify my identity, such as through the email address associated with my Box account, or if you can assist me in disabling MFA. I'd appreciate your help in regaining access to my account. 

Hi I have deleted files and emptied trash but this is not reflected in the amount consumed. Please can you run the script to resolve this issue? Currently my box shows 13gb used of 15gb. Thanks

I can not access my Box account with all my files because it is tied to an email account, r*****@*****.com, which I do not have. Please help. I have a lot of information I need on this account.

Did something change recently?  It seems when I open folders now the default is details.  I have changed these in the past to list and also clicked on Apply to all folders of this type.  For some reason it doesn’t work and I have to keep changing the view to list.   ***Using box drive

I used my edu email to register the box account years ago. But the university deleted every alumni’s email which was promissed to be an life long email. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the notification before they deleted the email permanantly. I can no longer log into by box account. How to still access to the box account with all my files? 

When I log into Box I no longer see any files. 

I apparently tried uploading three different files at different times and they must not have downloaded. I no longer need them (and to be honest do not even recall that where was an error) ......  Every time I turn on my laptop computer I get the error notifications and can't find how I delete the upload attempt or stop the error notifications.

I’m considering subscribing to the Box Business plan ($15/user/month) for my team of 9. I understand that with this plan, all external collaborators require a paid seat. How does the billing for this work? A couple of specific scenarios: We have a temporary collaborator that ends after one month and then a new collaborator joins. Can I just pay for one extra seat that will cover both of these people? We have a temporary collaborator that is only on our account for 2 weeks. Can I pay for an extra seat and then delete it after these 2 weeks? How much will I get billed for?

I am using Box through webbrowser interface.To improve usability, I wanted to also use Box Drive, but it does not seem to work with our company proxy server. If I connect at home without proxy, everything is fine.I can do the Box Drive login process until I get the link to open the Box Drive app. But then nothing happens.Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

Currently my files sync to a Box Folder located on my C Drive.  I want to move the folder to my D Drive which has more space.  The instructions I have seen all relate to setting the sync location upon install, but they don’t reflect what you can do when it is already installed.  Does one need to uninstall and then re-install Box Sync to change the location?  Seems like there should be an option to change the location.My Box Sync Options 

I am not getting email notifications for uploads into a specified folder. When I upload a file into that folder, my boss gets the notification to his email box, but I do not. I went to this folder and enabled the the email notifications. This is important as this folder contains high-priority items to work on. I am an editor and these notification items have not been greyed out.

Is there a setting that can allow me to receive a notification when a file I have ownership of is previewed or downloaded?

There are about 3,000 PDF documents in the folder uploaded on the BOX. I want to open the target PDF document on the BOX by clicking the "link" of the "list table" created by Excel on the desktop for each PDF document. I can copy the shared link from each PDF document and paste it into Excel, but is it possible to "export the shared link to CSV or something at once"? I'm working alone and I'm wondering if there's a good way to do it without time, but it's quite difficult. Thank you.

I am currently organizing the contents because a message indicating that the storage is full has appeared. However, the actual capacity and the displayed capacity are inconsistent, so I cannot save new files. Please check the storage situation and perform repairs.

A client is trying to share a file with me and his share link does not work. My free account does nothing to help. This is wasting my time

My colleague can’t recieve emails from BOX.Probably, her email was placed on your email suppression list.(Another colleague had the same issue in the past.)So, please remove the email from this suppression list.

Hi! I am looking into leveraging the Box AI tool to help analyze documents, however it seems to be very basic and isn't too helpful right now. I can't find any settings to switch up the model or prompts used, any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, suddenly today I am not able to access files in box folders. When I try to look at them in Box Sync in a finder window I get the attached message  "Your Device couldn't connect to the server. There may be a problem with the server or Network"  I have no internet issues other than Box so I don't think it's the network. When I try to access files I accesses yesterday at Box.com I get this error message "We're sorry, the preview didn't load. This Document may be protected."  The option to download is still there online but nothing happens when I click to download. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It worked just fine yesterday so I don't know what is going on. 

When my boss logs into I get the 2 factor notifications on my phone even though he is logging in through his account. How do we get the 2 factor notifications go to his phone when he is logging in?

I was introduced to Box e-signature last year via a sales rep. But he moved one and I can not reach his replacement. I am now testing the e-signature with a trial.He was telling me about a feature within the e-signature to use different email aliases when sending out the signature requests. For exp: accounting@ audit@ etc, so each time a team member belonging to that specific team needs to send a signature request, they would use that email alias as the sender. Any ideas how this works? Or it this still an option?
