Getting started in the community

I just found out that you can only download 1TB of your data/mo.  I wanted to close my account and download my data. I have >22TB of data so they get 22 more months of payments out of me at $50/moTotally unfair.    Beware!

I am working on a talk in Latex and it needs some graphic files for illustration. The tex file and the png and jpeg files sit inside the same folder on Box and unfortunately the image files can never be found when trying to  compile the tex into pdf files on Texshop.(1) There seems to be some problem with Box seeing graphic files in the same folder as the tex file that uses them. I looked at the ‘file info’ details and I have permissions to read and write for all involved. The info file actually displays the correct graphic file that Texshop cannot access. Weird. All looks good, but inside Box compilations, the graphic files cannot be found, so the console of Texshop tells me.(2) I have another folder on Box with tex and graphic files and those can always be compiled together easily in Texshop. Their file infos do not look any different at all and they work together as designed.(3) I cannot see any way out to correct this Box incompatability mess up.  I tried to export the tex and grap

I have started to use Box Notes and quite like the writing experience and ability to collaborate with others on the same file. I realise that there is no export function available. I can live with that since I saw that there is a print function and I counted on being able to Print to PDF. Strangely enough, whenever I’m on the Print window and I select Print to PDF, I see the Note in the background go blank and the resulting PDF is blank as well. I’m using Box on a Mac and I use the Safari browser. When I tried it on FireFox it worked fine. Does this mean that Box does not fully support Apple’s Safari browser and are there other limitations?

Regarding the below Box article for know limitations of AI for Box Hubs:https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/28323495455123-Box-Hubs-Known-Issues-and-Limitations In the bottom of the article it states “When either of the limits for Box AI for Hubs are reached, the AI service responds with an error message. Only the first 1 MB of a document is indexed by AI.”Does this mean that the first 1MB of a document will only ever be indexed? Or if the limit is reached then the new files will only be index for the first 1MB?

Hello Higher Education Colleagues and Boxers,I am Jason Clock (he/him) and while I work for Georgetown University in Washington, DC, I work remotely from Mountain View, CA. I am the Collaboration Services Product Manager handing enterprise applications such as Box, Microsoft, Google Workspace, PaperCut, and WestFax. I had backed up some large files on  my Box Drive a while back. But now these files are not backed up. The reason mentioned is that these are “file size larger than the maximum size limit for this account type…….” My simple question is, since I was able to upload this file size earlier (that this large is already there in my Box drive is proof enough) and now I am not able to,  if my account has been downgraded or you unilaterally put this new limit on my account just to extract money from users like me?Can someone with proper knowledge and authority comment on this?
