Hi,

I received this email and my Box account no longer allows the uploading of files, I am the admin of 3 users with the Box Business Plus plan ($90 per month) which has unlimited storage space but from what we read from the email received it is possible to upload /download max 1TB per user, I wanted to know if this limit of 1TB per user is for everyone and if by upgrading to the Enterprise plan ($126 per month) this limit does not exist.
Thank you.

"Dear Box Admin,

Thank you for your continued use of Box. We have detected a significant increase in uploaded content to your account xxxxxxxxxxx that exceeds the bandwidth limitations set forth in our Fair Use Policy. This month, the total upload bandwidth exceeded the acceptable usage limit of 1 TB per user per month.

As a result, to prevent abuse and ensure the integrity of the Box Service for all, we have implemented preventative measures to limit your upload bandwidth. This limit will remain in place until October 2nd.

We ask that you take the necessary steps to reduce your bandwidth usage to under 1 TB per month per user. For more information about what drives bandwidth usage, please refer to this article.  You may also reach out to Sales to discuss options including buying additional seats, which will allow your account to use more bandwidth.

After this period ends, Box reserves its right to pursue additional remedial action should you continue to use Box in a manner that violates our Terms of Service and/or our Fair Use Policy. Such action may include, but is not limited to, reducing the bandwidth available to your account and potentially suspending your use of the Box Service.

If you no longer wish to remain on the platform, we will expedite your cancelation and refund for the remaining duration of your account.

Thank you for your understanding and for being a valued Box customer.

Sincerely,
The Box Team"

Hi Ivan,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to help!

Looks like you're already working with a member of our Product Support team. Rest assured that we'll stay in touch and please keep an eye out.

Thanks for posting!

I'm sorry but 1 TB a month for an account that is advertised as unlimited isn't very useful. It would take a long time to be able to upload the 1 PB (unlimted) it shows you have on an account.

I wanted to know if the Box Enterprise plan also has a limit of 1TB per month for upload/download.

Thanks

I am having the same issues.

Same question !

It looks like an "unlimited plan", LIMITED to 12 To/year

The same thing happens to me, has anyone managed to contact me and find a solution? Box also does not have 24-hour customer service as it says, it takes a while to contact you and it is only in English.

If anyone is interested in what follows:
