Unable to Delete a Copy of a Spreadsheet

I am the admin, and I created a shared folder for collaboration with an outside company. They uploaded a spreadsheet that I made a copy of, thinking that it would be in my personal Google Drive, but it was created in the shared folder. I am unable to delete this copy. Can someone let me know how I can delete the copy?
