New User Confirmation email fails to send to a specific email

I've set up an account for one of our new employees, but the confirmation email never comes through. I've been trying this for hours.

I then decided to do a test. I created another account with a different name and email, and it worked as it should, but for some odd reason, it does not work for the new employee. Please advise. Thank you!
